I hope this young man has grown up. He was still pretty much a kid when he was getting into trouble. Maybe he has grown up. If he would have kept his nose clean he would have likly been a top 5 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. His problem was not being responsible and immature. He didn't stab or rob anyone. He skipped classes and wasn't a good student. Give him a chance. We have nothing to lose. I already like him better then T-Jack.

The Plan

Every quality organization needs a strategic plan. It is amazing to think that an organization like the Vikings, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, doesn't appear to have a 5 year plan for the quarterback position. This guy may make the team, but would any rube risk their house on this guy?

I saw Ryan play several games at Jacksonville State. He is very, very, good. I am predicting that he will have a successful NFL career. The Vikings are a first class organization, have a great head coach and is the best place for him to be. Go Cocks!

"The perfect example: Perrilloux smashed a Florida State linebacker, knocking off his helmet, as he made a block on a run play.
"He about takes the guy out of his uniform when he hits him," Crowe said. "Hardest hit of the game."
Perrilloux was the Ohio Valley Conference offensive player of the year last season, passing for 2,350 yards and 23 touchdowns with two interceptions. He rushed for 443 yards and eight touchdowns. "
I see a project quarterback, him and webb and maybe rosenfels but scratch t-jack.

How many great athletes with all the skills and talent in the world end up having off the field behavioral trouble that derail all that potential?
People can change and grow up. I hope he has for his own sake.
Kid, whoever you have around you from younger days...get rid of them. Get new friends.

He has improved his team by 2 wins each year, and lost a close NFC championship last year. From 6-10 to 12-4. With his team still capable of winning it all this year.... Maybe it is time to cut the guy a little slack and stop hating just because that is what everyone does. Stop blindly following the haters.

I'm tired of hearing about how Minnesota is not addressing their future at QB. Tarvaris is not yet a bust, he has potential and deserves and will get another chance. That being said, I'm excited about Ryan as well - he could be good down the road, let's not let him slip through our fingers (*cough* Tyler Thigpin). - We need a young guy to groom. Minnesota, swallow the cash and your pride and cut Sage Rosenfels. Of the three guys not named Brett, Sage is the only one GUARANTEED not to be the future in Minnesota.

A note on Tarvaris. He has won more games than he has lost. He has thrown more TD's than he has picks. There are a lot of really badass QB's that started their career's off much worse. And now he has played behind and gotten to learn from the best gunslinger of our time. Tear em' up T-Jack. Prove em wrong!

with his past he should feel real comfortable in the NFL.....however, he does sound like he is probalby better suited for the NBA...either way, I am sure he will give TJOKE a run for that coveted number 3 QB slot on the Queen's depth chart.......
