Go Bucks-
Sorry you are so unappreciated- well over 4k empty seats for the number 1 team in the country. Pitiful.

Take it to the Illini on Saturday.

School is in session. Tomorrow's a work day. Money is still tight. The weather sucks.

My analysis so far this season for what it's worth (anyone who wants to give some input would be great):

Diebler: Aside from his obvious skills in outside shooting he seems to be driving the ball better and playing better defense. Keep doing it as it will open up others outside and get Sullinger more looks.

Buford: Great job adjusting to finding open men when he penetrates and his outside shooting has improved tremendously.

Lighty: Can't say enough good things about this kid. I have never seen someone who works as hard as him and although he gets off balance at times, I am proud to call him a Buckeye.

Sullinger: Best all around big man I have ever seen as a freshman. Works the post like he should and doesn't force shots if they aren't there.

Lauderdale: Great work ethic, I think he has been disappointed in playing time. Needs to realize that his time on the court is valuable for the team and keep playing physical basketball. Great game tonight.

Craft: A very welcome addition to the team. Plays amazing defense and hits shots when he is called on. Great ball handling. The best things I can say about him are he has very quick hands and plays with a very high basketball IQ.

Thomas: Plays well down low. Is a force on defense and works well on the post and driving to the basket. QUIT FIRING 3 POINT SHOTS! We have enough guys to hit them...learn to play your role and you will be very successful.

Sibert: I think he gets nervous when he comes in on the offensive side of the ball because of inexperience, but he has the skills to do well.

Smith Jr: Another guy with great potential, just needs to get better at taking care of the ball when he has it in his hands.

Overall, I think this team has the right attitude and drive to be great. Don't get down if you lose a game or two, it's going to happen. Just concentrate on playing solid basketball on both ends of the court and try to cut down on the short runs turning the ball over. If they do that, this team can beat anyone in the country and has a shot at bringing a championship back to Columbus. GET THAT #1 SEED BOYS! Go Bucks!!!

Lauderdale seemed to be better motivated this game. That's good as he will need to provide productivity very, very shortly. I like watching Lighty show the athletic ability to slash to the basket as he did on occasion tonight. Thundering slams are crowd pleasers at home and daggers in the heart on the road. Agree with FLBuk on Craft's hands. If the NBA isn't calling him, some magic act sure will be.

Was at the game tonight - Craft's defense was in a word "breathtaking". There was one series of Iowa possessions where he either stole the ball or defended the shot resulting in a miss seemingly 5 or 6 times in a row. If this kid continues to progress at the rate he has in the last 2 months, he will be unstoppable come tourney time!
