What an awesome day for INDIANA basketball. I think this really shows that unlike our previous coach, Sampson means business when he says in state recruiting is #1 priority. Gordon will be the first in a long line of great players brought in by Sampson.

I'm glad to see Indiana finally got a coach who can recruit. I just hope he doesn't win more championships than I did.

Great news. I have all the respect in the world for Bruce Weber, but in reality if the coaching change had been made earlier Illinois would not be in the ball game. Go IU and Purdue. Keep Indiana kids home. Hopefully, the hate mongers on the Illiniboard who blame Coach Sampson will realize how silly they sound.

Thank you Eric Gordon for keeping a verbal at Illinois for almost a year now and then at the last minute showing your true colors! Thanks for ruining the Illini and Bruce Webers 07 recruiting class by making him think you were "Solid" for almost year like you said numerous times over and over. Thank you for ruining the Illini team for the next few years because now there are very few quality players left in the 07 class for Weber to go after!
Dishonorable & classless that’s all you are, which makes you a perfect fit for Sampson since he is no better! With any luck and justice Indiana will be suspended from tourney play by the time you reach campus due to Sampson's stellar violating track record! You and your coach make me sick!
