I recommend that the judge,the district attorney, the defendant attorney should have there license revoke and formal charges be brought aganist them for discrimination.

I think that every newspaper in the country should rally together to have the judge, the district attorney, and the public defender involved in ths case to be removed from office and never to practice law for as long as they live.
The police chief should be removed from office as well. |

I would love to send a letter to the judge on this case to express how wrong I feel this is and I am not from Louisiana nor am I black...How can anyone think this kid is being given a fair trial...if this were a black kid who got beat up by white kids this would not be happening...and why were the white kids not punished further for the nooses? I am pretty discussed with my state. I currently reside in California. This really turns my stomach. The national media pick and chooses what the American public should be aware of. Where is CNN? Where is ABC? Where is NBC? Where is Justice?

We all need to come together. It sickens me every time I read about this case. No child, NO ONE should suffer because of the color of the skin. God made us all. How did we get this way????

I agree that the charges were much too harsh, but there are a couple of issues that are being skirted.
1. Whether or not the white victim spent 5 minutes or 3 hours in an emergency room, a 6 on 1 fight, on school grounds, racial grouping aside, needs to be dealt with in a severe manner. 2. It is irresponsible for this paper or any other to infer that the noose incident and the 6 on 1 fight happened in close time proximity. Just about every news source concerning this incident seems to gloss over the four months in between the incidents, in order to make the story that much better. |

i really think it's unfair that the situation went the way did but you know and everyone else black white chinese or any race knows that it is unfair to charge them boys with that much jail time they shouldn't have did no more than a couple of months if that kids fight all the time just the fact that it was black kid fighting a white kid made it wrong something has got to be done about this ITS NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!
