T-wolves keep the tradition alive...terrible draft so far and then to makes things worst they trade the rights to Babbit away for Webster a high school player with a career 8 point average.

Not sure what the thinking behind trading Gomes and the rights to Babbit for a player who averages nine points per game. Babbit is considered a good value in the middle of the first round so why not keep and develop him. There are going to be a lot of empty seats at the Target Center next year if this does not turn around quick.

Way to go Kahn-man (or should I say CON-man). Once again, you've really excited the few hundred Wolves fans you have left with all your over-thinking and wheeling-and-dealing. You're no different than McFail with these ridiculous moves. Same garbage, different day. Those people that bought the lousy $4 Target Center seats are overpaying to watch another Wolves team lose 65 games.

I'm about done supporting this team. I pay to attend about 7-q0 games a season and hoped that Kahn could rebuild this team. Trading the 16th pick and Ryan Gomes for a career back-up who is simply a journeyman, is another really stupid move that tells fans that there is no plan and no interest in getting better. This trade is as bad as the Clipper deal a few years sending a #1 pick and Sam Cassell to LA for Marko Jaric!
Martell Webster is Ryan Gomes with a little better 3-point range but his overall game is mediocre. Luke Babbitt has a chance to become a solid player and from day one, is a better player than Martell Webster will ever be.
And what do you do with Trevor Booker? Nice bench player but no real value on a team that desperately needs starters and high potential guyss, not bench players.

I want to like David Kahn, but I think he may well fall into the category of folks who think they are craftier than they are. Note to Mr. Kahn from a man who has respected you: there are almost no Minnesotans left who will listen to talk about how this is part of an ongoing process. If this fails, you should do the honorable thing and quit.

I am so glad I did not renew my season tickets. What a joke of a franchise. Kahn has no basketball sense.I will be keeping my money in my pockets.

Remember when Khan came to Minnesota? His big selling points were his business savvy and his closeness w/Stern.
FFWD a couple years, he is playing the same game as the previous GM, He Whose Name Shall Not be Spoken, pandering to organizations on the rise in the NBA. The wolves are the Washington Generals. The NBA is as crooked as WWE. And Con is serving his master well.
Some day the wolves may be one of the chosen franchises, but not now. It is their job to lose and help build winning teams elsewhere.

In order to satisfy the fans
we need to keep and draft mostly
white players. That way losing
won't be so painful and fans
will like them like their own
sons.

If you bring in a black player
and they don't win the MN fans
will immediately hate them.

Keep the white man can't jump for
fans. Only the rich white folks
are able to afford those seats
anyways even thought the Target
Center is neighboring North MPLS
ghetto you don't see any black fans
because they can't afford it.

Babbit will be good as so many players that the TWolves drafted and then traded right away (remember Brandon Roy). What the h... are they thinking???? They could let anybody from the street run the show and it would not be worse.

well its better than last year... if by better you mean they only picked 3 people, same position, instead of 4! Man, Espn made it even more depressing, they listed the wolves past draft picks... all the good ones they traded away... can we trade this organization away??? PLEASE!!!

I have said this before and will say it again
now: Kahn has nothing to do with this. McHale
had nothing to do with this. This is Glen
Taylor's team and he makes ALL decisions from
payroll to personel; he always has and he always
will. It is simply not in his DNA to take an
investment of this size and turn it over to an
underling; he runs every business he has the same
way. The article yesterday point blank said Kahn
AND TAYLOR were to meet and make the final
decisions; well you see what they are. Don't kid
yourselves into thinking there are actual
basketball people in that organization making
these decisions.
