Cats fall to Furman

Ladies and Gentlemen, this loss was created by poor coaching. Too much substitution of players at critical points during the game. Coach Hunter seems to be more interested in making sure most of the players get an opportunity to play instead of trying to find the best starting five and going with them most of the game. I'm not sure the offense he is running matches the abilities of the players he has recruited. Coach Hunter recruited a sharp shooter from the JUCO ranks and he has not let him dress out for one game this year.

"Former Cat": I think the player you're referring to is Mcgowan, and according to the Furman game notes, he has been suspended several games for, here it comes again, "violation of team rules." I am really concerned about the dissention on this team. Things could really become volatile around the 18 loss mark. Stay tuned.
