It WAS Joe Paterno's decision to make, Tom Sawyer, what don't YOU understand about that?
The man was an icon around Penn State and could have stopped his pervert of an assistant coach in his tracks. Instead, he casually passed the information along the chain of command.
What about the 10-year-old boy who was scarred for life from the sexual molestation? The news that spread around the country about this scandal was good for only one thing: It helped to out the pedophile from Syracuse University.
You can almost bet there are other cases out there to be uncovered.
I think the toll is up to 10 now. I was saying it wasn't Joe's decision to decide if Sandusky was guilty or innocent. He should have let a legal investigation team make that decision.

I agree completely. It is going to take a long time for Penn St to recover.

Joe Paterno and the Penn State president are just as culpable in the shower incident as Sanducky, who should be given a goodly sentence. His lawyer has got to be taken down in court for the fake he is.

Joe Paterno was fully informed of what happened in the shower with his long-time assistant coach. He had an eye witness in another coach.
Instead of casually passing it on to the administration through the chain of command like he did, he should have come forward immediately and did something about this atrocity in his own team's locker room.
He did not, and that's why he has been maligned and fired. Think about the innocent 10-year-old boy. He is scarred for life.
eye witnesses arent 100%$ reliable. and he did report the matter to his superiors and it is THEY who failed to take proper action

St Lawrence cty NY family court still covering up molestation of three yr old by state worker !! Judge would not allow factual evidence into court. in fact Nurse Margaret Dossert of Potsdam hospital tried to testify and her testimony was stricken from record . would not allow hospital records in either !! & man who did it is still allowed around child to do it again !!! FBI SHOULD INVESTIGATE !!

I totally agree about what. U say regarding eye witness testimony, however when it is someone u work with on a daily basis.....I would say that. Puts it in a different light
