As per SI the SEC is the conference that has more players in the NFL draft in the last decade. Overrated teams have lost championships in the last 3 years. Facts are not refutable, but cheap writting is for dumb writers in search of a spotlight. They know writting against the best pleases most of the readers.

I think the winter weather of the southeastern USA also has a lot of appeal in recruiting top athletes. Why would a top recruit want to freeze in cold weather in the midwest or upper east coast below 10 F or less when he can just stay in the SEC region with mild winters. My favorite time of the year in Florida is now - the weather is usually in the 60s - 70s with low humidity. It might get a little cool in the morning, perhaps 40-50, but that's not a big deal to me. I saw some manatees today and an alligator out at a state park. The Florida winter weather is awesome. I remember the lake effect snow in the midwest and -10 F weather. That was lame.
