What's wrong with you guys?!! Last year FAU became the youngest football team to even go to a bowl game, and this year they won for the second year in a row. Can your college say that? If you even went to college...
They may not be as well known as the bigger schools, but they have accomplished so much in such a short time with so little facilities, the whole school should go into a sports hall of fame, not just the head coach. The Owls should not only get congratulations, but high praise for what they've done. If you had seen the game, you would know that they completely handled the Chippewas on both sides of the ball. But I guess you were running away from the police at your club last night. Again.

IT's great to be an OWL!!! FAU played solid football on both sides of the ball, luck had nothing to do with it!! The better team came out on top! Congrats to Rusty Smith for the Offensive MVP Award, he threw a great game! Also congrats to Frantz Joseph, who had an EXPLOSIVE night, lighting up Chips EVERYWHERE! But more than anything, congrats to the FAU team and program, this win will take our program to the next level for more opportunity with back to back bowl wins on our reputation now! HOOT HOOT!

Your taunts and mockery have no result on the FAU fans. LOL
FAU has fans who stick with the school through thick and thin.

Keep up the excellent work, Fighting Owls. The Motor City Bowl committee showed confidence in you and it showed. Let's keep bowling for more Bowl Games.:)
Its a beautiful thing when hard work reaps wonderful rewards such as this bowl win.
Right on FAU, GO FIGHTING OWLS!!!!

J-E-T-S is just venting because his beloved Jets are going down on Sunday!!

I am very proud to be an alum of FAU and the football team is not a serious waste of money. If you don't like it, don't click on the story or the blog! But Ted appreciates it, it helps his numbers so keep complaining and tearing down. No need to be constructive!!!

FAU should be proud of what they are doing. Even FSU has been playing football since 1947 and they've done so much. And FAU has a wonderful coach. Good luck!

I am SO proud of FAU and their coaching staff. They have come a long way in a few years. None of this is easy and it well-deserved. Boys, congratulations!

FAU is looking better and better everytime I see them in action.
In no way are the even comparable to FIU, or hell, even UCF.
FAU has done more in eight years than FIU, UCF combined.

Will you still think its a waste next year when Favre retires, the Jets tank, get a low first round pick and use it to pick up Rusty? Take a look back in Jets history to see where two of your beloved QBs got most of their Offensive knowedge from. Hint, the same guy that was an assistant coach at Alabama (Joe Namath) is the same guy that coached Vinny Testaverde to a Heisman at UM, is also the same guy coaching Rusty Smith right now.

FAU is spending money on its team now, but it will make it back in the future.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Aries

The behaviour of somebody around you (most probably your partner or family member) may be rather irrational today. Alternatively, a surprise involving one of these people is possible. Try to keep your domestic plans reasonably flexible to cover all possible outcomes. The focus is on improving your relationship with your partner or with friends today. Any outings should go very smoothly.
