As I remember correctly Barber and Maroney weren't huge 4 star athletes, but look what they turned into. The problem with the program is that our coordinators keep leaving. I feel bad for Weber who has had to keep learning a new system each and every year. If we can keep our coordinators we will win. Keep it up Brewster! This is a great class of recruits. What would you rather have: One 5 star and a handful of 3 stars or a bunch of 3 stars? Easy. Give me a bunch of eager 3 stars anyday. Great job Brewster and I look forward to seeing these new recruits in action. Haters. Move to Wisonsin! What flavor is the koolaid today.it's hard to believe there are people that actually buy Brewster's bull!!

It was really unrealistic to think Henderson would ever stay here. With as many options as he has he can go anywhere. The interesting scenario with him is that he is yet to qualify academically with any college, and he will not officially sign with USC until more is known about the sanctions or lack of imposed upon USC coming up mid month, his people stated today. He still could end up else where.

Most of us that contribute to this board are from MN. We also realize that this team is still (for the last 60 years) at the mercy of the Big 10 in terms of football. Wake up homer and realize our hometown team suck a*S!

Maroney had already been paid, signed and delivered to the University of Illinois when we made him a better offer. Gosh, the U of I was angry about that one! Two totally different situations with nothing in common. Additionally, nearly half the 2008 class is now gone including the only player who has had any impact at all. Sorry, but a top player would have started by his sophomore season more often than not, especially on a losing team.

Gopher football will Never be good. There is too much sports competition in the Twin Cities, what with the Twins, Vikings, Wild, Timberwolves... Gopher football is kind of an afterthought, except for some of us hometowners or alumni. Ever notice how cities with ONLY college teams tend to do way better and get way more attention?? Examples you say?? Tuscaloosa, Tallahassee, Gainesville, Iowa City, Austin, Columbus, Lincoln, Madison, Ann Arbor, Boise, Lubbock, Knoxville, etc, etc, etc. MPLS is doomed for major college sports.

They don't compete for the same players, so there is no comparison.
