It's funny how sports media can have such an huge impact on most sporting events out comes, especially the Clemson/North Carolina Basketball game. Everyone talks about how they can't win in Tar Heel Country, well, I personally can say that's "BULL". Look only reason Clemson can't win in Chaple Hill, the media, yes the media. When the players here about the streek it's no wonder they loss. To me I personally feel that the team if Clemson really wanted to be North Carolina in Chaple Hill they would. Bottom line it's North Carolina, all hail the Tar Heels, what ever, Clemson needs to develope and additude that North Carolina is just like any other team, they can be beat. Let me say that alittle bit louder for the tigers to here, "THEY CAN BE BEAT"!!!, no excuse for Saturdays game. I'm sorry but, I feel it's time Clemson gets out the ACC as far as Baskeball, lets go Independant for maybe three years, build up a better team, better reputation, and play quality apponents from the Big 12, SEC, Big 10, Big East, ect. Got to get the monkey off our backs.

So lets face the facts ok, the ACC is PRO UNC,NSC,WAKE FOREST, and DUKE. Look any other team other than Clemson is looked at as a serious opponet. The ACC is ANTI-Clemson, and has been for years. Clemson has had years were they came close to an ACC Championship Title only to be cheated by ANTI-CLEMSON officals. So again to be freeken nice about this, we need to just get out the ACC and go INDEPENDENT in order to gain R-E-S-P-E-C-T from the ACC, and not the disrespect that we have recieved for years. Be sides lets face it, IT'S ALL ABOUT TOBBACCO ROAD, OH WOOPPIE FREEKEN DOO !!!

Are you serious? Sounds like sour grapes. If Clemson were any good they would get respect.

Man oh man, whats up with jrtiger, I mean talk about someone who needs to be educated on Clemson sports. Listen, let me clarify whats up with clemson. Now I'm a big fan of football, so basketball isn't my thing. Remember one thing about Clemson, were a football, baseball, and soccer school. Look when you think basketball, you think Duke, Indiana, Setton Hall, Xavier, and kentucky. Anyway you should get the idea, Clemson doesn't emphisize baskeball, so take my advice follow another sport kid. Besides Clemson football is looking good for next season, maybe even a BCS Bowl bid, and someday a National Title, but thats still under construction. Peace!!!

sounds like you know very little about college basketball, blame it on the media, blame it on anything you like but the bottom line is the Tarheels have been better than the tigers 52 times at Chapel Hill, can you understand that.

Every team "CAN BE BEAT" when it comes to the tar heels, your clemson team is gonna have to work a lot harder to do it.
It's called BASKETBALL, not mediaball.

I have seen CU beat UNC in North Carolina (in G'boro at the Tournament) - we killed them (by 1 on a Greg Bucker dunk at the buzzer). Of course, UNC has more talent year in and year out and the few times we have matched their talent, they have still beaten us in Chapel Hill. We do have a better chance of beating UNC or Duke when playing in the NCAAs because we won't have to overcome the biased ACC officiating - this is fact. Just ask Rick Barnes, who left out of frustration due to biased officiating which ripped his heart out.

See other posts. If anybody thinks the NC game at Clemson was well ref'd then you think you team always needs to play 7 on 5. Even the NC homers calling the game for ESPN thought it was absurd. Check the telecast. The nice thing about the poor officiating in the ACC is that when you fill out a bracket a marginal ACC school from NC will always get bounced in the 1st round. See Duke losing to mighty winthrop.

Yes we need to kiss the ACC good bye and move the big east. I am past tired of the NC homer mafia.
