Please note that I was banned from Cal Insider for posts like this one. I argued last season that one reason Cal fell apart was that, like nearly all NCAA teams, half of team members deliberately chose to untuck their jerseys believing that made them look as if they were trying harder than their teammates with jerseys tucked in. They forgot about how teamwork works. I wrote to Tedford that a team should look uniform. Either all tucked in or all untucked. it seems he agreed, for in the first three games - on TV at least - it looks like the Cal's players are keeing their jerseys tucked in or the jersey style makes them all look UNIFORM.
My bet for Eugene Oregon: the team with the most untucked jerseys will lose.
