A former Boise State football player will be arraigned today on grand theft charges.

Things are not as simple as they seem. Dennis came and talked to my students in school. The kids loved him! He was trying to get his life turned around. He comes from a bad background, but has an NFL body, and lots of talent. But unfortunately, no judgement.
I am saddened more than anything, the coaches tried to give him a chance, but it wasn't to be. |

It might be sad but the bottom line is that Ellis is an adult and needs to take responsibility for his actions rather than blaming it on a bad childhood. He let himself down, the team, and the coaches that gave him that chance. I still say he is an idiot and the school wasted their time with him. I am sure there are other young men that rise above their situation when given a free education. He is a fool. |

Dennis is an amazing person and the past is now behind him. Thanx to his friends and family but most of all his little man, dennis is gettin his life together!! It's a shame he lost track for a minute...

I coached Dennis in High School and yes he came from a socioeconomic disadvantage system, but I know Dennis and he is a good person and has a great heart. I hope and pray that he gets things in line and perspective to be a great person in society.
