Gators Donovan is Kentucky's top choice?

I don't think Calipari is going to leave Memphis unles some of his young talent jumps to the NBA. He has a good shot of the title next year with that team.

why does everyone keep living in the pitino days. f&*k pitino & all his assistants. Calipari is my choice. donnavan has always been pitino's bi#$h & ul would domminate ul if donnavan came. dont get me wrong i could be wrong & i would probably do cartweels in the street if donnavan came but that would keep the power at ul. we need someone that pitino is scared of not someone he can play like a puppet. donnavan has a "dad complex" with pitino, he has never beaten him & continues to be intimidated by him. calipari has jus said he is not intrested so that should mean that he is comming right. plus canu imagine the sec with calipari, donnavan, pearl, stallings & felton is going to get georgia in next year. the acc would be the litte boy confrence.

Donovan is going to be the next coach at UK. He will bring all the top recruits that were wavering between Flordia and Kentucky.Current players, step up your game or plan on riding the pines. This new blood is good, real good.

Tubby is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I wish him well in Gopher country.

Please Mrs. Patterson and Patrick, please forgive the UK fans for running your close friend Tubby out. Please give Donovan a chance. He is a winner and has an exciting style of basketball. We promise Donovan will not be ran out if he doesnt win national title in first year. At least I think

This is rubbish, Donovan has no "dad complex", I don't believe Pitino "owned " Tubby while Ricky has been at UL. Donovan would be by far the best choice, I just doubt that he will leave UF.(Unless you pay him something like 8-10 mill. per year). Don't you risk arrest in Bardstown if caught doing cartwheels in the street?

Tubby was a super individual morally. Unfortunately, he was being paid to be a super coach and was not living up to those expectations. Yes, he had a lot of pressure on him from the fans, but he was being well compensated for that paressure. It comes with the job. Maybe if there were more Kentucky boys on the bench it would have made those losses a little easier to stomach. Bring on Donovan!!!

People its going to be Donovan thats why Kentucky hasn't announced anything yet! They are waiting until the day after the Gators get elminated from the NCAA tourny or after he wins it to announce hes the new head coach at UK! I'am 100% positive hes already signed sealed and delivered! His agents have already been in talks with barnhart since day 1 of tubbys departure! Billy is coming to the promise land where people will appreciate what he does unlike florida where hes third behind football, and golf!

havnt seen it myself , but heard from 2 so so sources that billy signed his contract extention. by the way ,went to UF web site ,there was nothing. and only 2 sentences about gator basketball.....(sad )

I would do cartwheels all the way across Kentucky if Donnavan comes. If he doesn't my next three choices would be Calipari, Howland, and Bruce Pearl. Can you imagine Pearl on the sideline after signing a couple of Kentucky boys. I( would then choose the Texas coach, Ohio State coach and/or Mark Few. Bruce would walk to UK campus to be their coach. That would mean he has reached the Rocky Top peak of coaching.

contracts are made to be bought out. pitino had one when he left kentucky for the celtics. bottom line money money money. there is enough at lexington. so , whoever they offer the job too will have a lot to think about .

i would think that Donavon had emerged from Pitinos shadow and is no longer Pitinos boy. As far as tubby and Pitino tubby at u of k was 6-4 against u of l and 3-2 against ricky p

Do you really trust Barnhart that much? Does Donnovan want to live under your microscope? This is a guy that did not want to re-negotiate his contract because he had players comming back for free just to win another champioship. I am not sure he desires to be worshiped. Great coach, great recruiter...if you get him its probable that the entire nation will despise you (UK), which is what you want!!!
