He who shall not be named is no god-he is satan! Once he has a couple of losing seasons-he'll be bumped to the curb just like they did at UMASS!!

UK should have a fantastic season this year, much like the season Memphis had two years ago. It will be interesting to see how many players to to the NBA next year, and how JC will recruit the following year. They'll be on a high for a long time. I don't see any downside for the next couple of years.

To 'luther'-UK may have the most wins for a basketball program but we all know NCAA championships are what counts and UCLA holds that record. UK has always had pretty upstanding coaches but now you guys are dancing with the devil and when he does something unscrupulous and puts a black mark on the program I'll bet everyone will be singing a different song. You have been Warned!

how is camby taking money from an agent his fault? just curious? can see where he has a share of blame IF rose didnt take his test, but what about the admissions officer that accepted his grades? the President of the university and the AD for being in charge when it happened? what about the monitors of the testing center for not making sure the right person took it? Plenty to go around. What i see is a lot of bitterness that your coach is now our coach

Yes! a long time ago. can;t keeping living on history forever. as a memphis fan now living in raleigh nc, I can assure this kentucky fan, that even even with cal and his getting a great class of players in a very questionable way, you are no match for the acc and their conference. you said kentucky is not umass or memphis, very true, however, cal is cal, at umas or memphis or kentucky. advice, don't turn your back:-)

Coach snake may be a excellent (although questionable) recruiter, he is no bench coach. Let him choke in the finals at UK and see how quick he's gone.

It is obvious to those who watch basketball one thing!!!!! Even with a terrible coach and diminished talent KENTUCKY BLUE does not have losing seasons!!!!. With talent and a coach the Blue Banner will be waving strong A deep run into the NCAA (or maybe a championship) will solidify what I hope to be a LONG LONG Tenure for COACH CAL

You obviously do not understand the landscape of college basketball. Even though the Big Blue had a terrible coach and diminished talent, we SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE LOSING SEASONS!!!! An SEC Banner and a deep run into the Tourney will solidy Coach Cal's reign at the Coach of the Greatest Basketball Program in the Land! GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!

You may simply not have losing seasons but a word to the wise-You now have the ONLY coach in NCAA HISTORY to vacate TWO final four appearances at two different universities-Guess you guys don't mind if he makes it three? MEMPHIS FANS SAY GOOD RIDDANCE AND GO KENSUCKY!!

JEALOUS??? Of what? Like I said before-GOOD RIDDANCE and may I add-it really couldn't have happened to a nicer(hah)bunch of hillbillies. Your tradition of cheating continues, going back to ole' Adolph and the point shaving. Stick your head in the sand and pretend it never happened-Kinda like Eddie Sutton. Need I say more???

Not all Memphis fans feel these extreme negative reactions. The fact is that U of M has a strong basketball tradition and that's why Larry Brown recommended the school to Cal when he decided to jump back to the college ranks. It was the right match at the right time for both, a good combination of coach, school and fan base. We set NCAA records for wins. We've been winners before on the national scene and this was just another chapter. Now we have a refreshing clean young coach, Josh Pastner who is also a winner and some talented players who want to be here and you will see Memphis again in the NCAA within a couple of years, maybe closer than you would like.

John did some good things for the community while he was here and put his heart into them. He wasn't a bad guy.

Oh, and by the way, I will even root for Kentucky from time to time, after all, the team is practically the transplanted Tigers!- even has blue uniforms!

Kelly-I am a UK fan, but I wish nothing but the best for memphis. I have pulled for Memphis every year UK has not been in it. It seems a shame some fans (such as yourself) can't be for your team, without being a hater. I can guarantee you, that we are as glad to have Cal at UK, as you are to have him gone from Memphis, and come tournament time-i hope you choke on it. Everyone (including you) is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how wrong it is.:-)
Seeya in March,(or not). I've already got my name on two tickets to the final four in Indy. have you got yours yet? I doubt it. If Cal were still at memphis, you'd be behind him 100% so get over yourself, i doubt he cares what you think.
He's welcome here and he knows it.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Cancer

Mercury turning retro is offering you the chance to make sweeping and long-lasting changes to your life, and to clear the ground for some fertile growth in 2010. Lawyers and legal matters, debates, contract negotiations, partnership or other alliances, and joint ventures of any kind need attention. As a Cancerian you don't like endings, but you must now bring an end to any situation or relationship that is holding you back or has passed its sell-by date. Look forward, not back, if you want a glittering future.
