We call CBI post season tournament? The standard used to be NCAA tournament.....this year no more excuses. NCAA is a must! Go Miners!

Up and down the roster is improved. I don't see how these Miners cannot go all the way in conference and then post seanson play. Get back to the NCAA Tournament.

Miners will tear it up this year.

I miss the days of Fred Cunningham, Juden Smith, Timmy Hardaway... ah, the good ol' days.

Typical negative attitude!! This tournament was a building block. This was a learning experince. Especially with the success the Miners got. It may not mean much as a tournament but it does help in the mental aspect of a post-season tournament. Extra games they would not have gotten and some exposure. So, put your loser attitude away.

Yes, this year we expect for UTEP to win the tournament and we will be scheduled to play the tournament in El Paso TX.

We have the banner ready.

I have to disagree with you again. The team from last year was filled mostly with sophomores. There were only two seniors. One of those seniors were on the last post season team of Doc Sadler's. That tourney will pay dividends this season. Write me a post if they don't make NCAA this year. I was totally against Utep going to that tournament at first. Then I saw the confidence grow.

Why do y'all gotta go hating on el paso and the miners? What did el paso every do to you? so what if the people think it's the best city. let their pea brains keep believing that. while other cities move forward and are 20 years ahead of el paso, let el paso think it's the utopia of coolness.
