Rainbows still rule Hawaii - Hawaii Sports

Full story: Honolulu Star-Bulletin

The bragging rights remain in Manoa. Hawaii shot 60 percent from the field and never trailed in snuffing out the "Best Team on the Island" debate in an 83-69 exhibition win against the nation's top-ranked Division II team, Brigham Young-Hawaii, last night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The BYU-Hawaii pg looks like a big dork! His name is JR or something.

Fun game to watch when BYUH made it closer in second half. Inside game of UH was too strong and they dominated rebounding and low-post scoring. Without Lucas, BYUH couldn't be competitive down low, and gave up many easy baskets. JR played very well due to his quickness, and kept Seasiders in the game. Both teams appear to be works in progress. UH needs to get healthy, and stop making so many turnovers. BYUH needs to show consistency and stop making silly fouls while playing much better defense.

HAHA needs to go on the court with JR then we'll see who's the dork. JR was solid and he and the BYUH guards just needed some help on the boards by their big men to be more competitive last night. Right now they are not the #1 team in any division.

Blessed are the some of the old who are resilient to change. They would have us continue to live in the past, where they hide from new things that they don't understand.

Wow so impressive playing against a depleted UH backcourt. And yes, JR looks like a dork. If he was legit he wouldn't be playing for D@ BYU-Hawaii. And don't give me the height stuff, Mister Jennings, Michael Adams, Mugsy, Spud, were all short!

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Scorpio

Something about your personality or appearance is drawing a lot of attention today, Scorpio. People insist on watching when you'd rather that they minded their own business. Your stubborn streak at a time when flexibility would be easier. Be kind to those with long memories, especially if you think you might run into them again at some point in your life. If you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
