These two kids are with out a doubt the two hardest working kids I've ever seen. Almost everyday they workout in the morning at the school, then go through a whole day of school. Afterwards Brandon goes to track practice then the YMCA for speed training after track. While Malik goes to the YMCA for another intense workout with his father. I've never seen two kids so dedicated to make it out of York. Plenty of kids had talent and no work ethic. These two are different and a big part is the coaching staff. I'm really proud of them.

As one of the individuals who have worked intimately with these two young men, "thechamp" is correct! By far the two hardest working individuals I've ever come across in York High. I have personally done speed training with the both of them at the YMCA and as the champ says, they come to me after a "full day of workouts". Phenomenal Student Athletes!!! And a Honor to work with!

I like the academics that these two young men exhibit. This means by keeping up their grades and playing ball also is a real plus; especialy when you consider the time and the momentum lost when a good player gets put on academic suspension. It makes a big impact on the team, many times when the team is going somewhere and these players are so sorely needed to keep the winning trend going.
Being a Penn State grad, of 1955 when JoePa was an assistant, I am a fanatic fan- I hope Penn State and these two guys can get together. There is no fan like a Penn State Fan, and JoePa is the big influence for this phynominon(I am not a great speller). |

Malik and Brandon aka "B-walk", are not only motivators in York. students see them as role models, you cant go a whole day without hear Brandon preach to everyone. he might be a clown at times but, he is always positive. Malik is quite compared to Brandon but he does his share of good work as well. The two guys are phenomenal and I wish them the best of luck.
