I saw the game last night, very impressed with the team as a whole. I have been a Razorback fan but have followed ASU and seen them play in Little Rock. They just keeping getting better all the time with Steve Roberts their coach.
The one thing that struck me about the team was that they played like a team. They really jelled together and they looked like they were just enjoying themselves. Actually MVU didn't look that bad, their special teams on returns just looked inexperienced but they were also fielding some rough looking kicks that aren't easy to handle.
In essence, MVU was a lot better than they looked.
I think ASU will do very well this year, they are going to put the whup on some teams and if their line can play the game of their lives next week they could take Nebraska down. Their offensive line needs to create some holes and those running backs can take off in the open field. Their quarterback was poised, made good reads and throws. He is a great general and you could tell the team felt confident in him. He just put the ball where it needed to be and he threw it away when he needed to. He made no mistakes that I saw which is what you want. He is just solid.
I was impressed with the team all the way around and their stadium is awesome. It's a great "fan" stadium, terrific place.
