Why is a police chief from Aurora trying to apprehend a suspect in Solon? Hey Chief, ever hear of JURISDICTION BECAUSE YOU WERE CLEARLY OUT OF YOURS.

... so if a Cleveland cop is standing in line with you at a bank in Akron & a robber comes in & holds a gun to your head....shall he stand still & not attempt to apprehend the robber because he is out of his jurisdiction?

maybe you should do alittle reading before you speak. the o.r.c.(ohio revised code) states that one dept. can go into another dept. jurisdiction by a thing called mutual aid!

Hey jerk-tell me where in the story that mutual aid was called for. The chief was parked outside the guy's house waiting for him.

Once again a person of "interest" who doesn't match the clean cut image of what most of America is, dies by a shooting. If a certain race who came from Europe was shot as much as the "other" races are, then there would be outrage. Instead, its just another poor, innocent person of "interest" who wouldn't be able to live in Shaker Heights, if you know what I mean.
There should be an immediate police inquiry into this shooting. Don't let certain "persons" suffer for the many.

if he was a rapist, GOOD, another rapist off the streets, shouldnt have fired at the officer to begin with.

when cops shoot perps, lawyers lose out on fees. for now, i'm sure someone will try to sue the aurora pd... its all about the green.

I wouldn't want to live in Shaker Heights. You couldn't pay me to live there. It's nothing more than a ghetto with overextended credit cards.

I was raised in NE Ohio and I've spent some time working in Northern California.

NE Ohio isn't Northern California. It ain't even close, my friend.

if you have to shoot. shoot to kill. leave no witness . better them than you. good goeing. good shooting always aim for the head.

there are over 175000 ohio people out there with permits to carry a gun. protect yourself. the law officers are not goeing to be there to help you, most of the time. take a class and an exam. get a good quality gun and a permit. its your right. oh yea if you have to shoot. shoot to kill . its your life or theirs. ps practice practice practice. be safe
