Send in your story about Rubber Bowl

How about the rock concerts in 72. I saw Black Sabbith, Rod Stewart, Humble Pie, Badfinger, and to top it off the Rolling Stones with Stevie Wonder opening. I think the tickets were $6.50. The Bowl was really rockin in the summer of 72.

I have plenty of stories about the Rubber Bowl.
So should the bj if they did their job and covered the Zips. Hey I got an idea, why don't you bj clowns come over to the work site and do my job for a day and then I'll write your column for you...NOT! Shouldn't you "guys" be filing chapter 11 any day now?

Every WEDNESDAY nite....Peoples hair would stand up on end while standing in line to buy tickets.. i know.. i saw it.. wierd.. anyway... colorful .. fast... Castor oil smells. etc...
The Offys from California would fly in on a DC3 and they would push the race cars across the runway up to the rubber bowl and race.. then load up and go back to California during the nite...
Absolutely amazing.. and TODAY.. NASCAR DRIVERS COULD DRIVE MIDGETS AT THE RUBBER BOWL ON WED. NITES AND PACK THE PLACE AND THE UNIVERSITY COULD MAKE ONE MILLION DOLLORS A WEEK. EASY.. BUT NO BRAINS.. THEY CONNOT THINK.....NO PROMOTORS.... SUCKS....
ONE MILLION BUCKS EVERY WED NITE COULD BE MADE AT THE RUBBER BOWL IN 2009.. WILL THE CITY AND UNIVERSITY DO IT... NO... BRAIN DEAD....

Bring the Nascar drivers and self starting USAC focus Midgets to the Rubber Bowl.. Every WED nite. in 2009...

IN 2002 i took my VW midget onto the field at the Rubber Bowl... paid off a grounds keeper...ha..
Mike Fulper was the LAST MIDGET DRIVER AND MIDGET CAR TO RUN AT THE RUBBER BOWL....:) i have the pictures to PROVE IT....
