Busting a myth: SEC is not so special

This is not a myth. This is the TRUTH carved in stone. At the top of the heap we find the wonderful, florious, University of Florida. We're gonna stomp some Bama ass.

Just as one must go through Hartsfield to get anywhere,(to hell the saying goes) no team can win the national championship without going through the SEC. Goooooo Gators.

I'm not a real SEC fan. I am A REAL LSU FAN; and one doesn't have to like the other schools in the conference to be A REAL LSU FAN. I'm always for LSU and most of the time......FOR ANYONE PLAYING ALABAMA OR FLORIDA. Should they meet each other, I'm for Florida. But, that would be the only time I would pull for Florida. LOL

However, if Alabama or Florida played USC, Ohio State, or Notre Dame, I would be for Alabama or Florida (Only then though).:)

LOL.........I can't help it LOL I've disliked Alabama since Bear Bryant coached for them; and, Charlie Mac just couldn't beat him in either Tuscaloosa or Death Valley.......It made me grow a huge dislike for the Crimson Tide in more ways than you would ever realize...... The only times I remember beating the Bear under Mac was 20-15 in 1969 in Death Valley, in 1970, it was 14-9 in Birmingham; and, in 1982 (Bryant's last time to coach for Bama against us) 20-10 in Birmingham. Those were the only 3 times I remember Mac beating his old mentor, Bear Bryant.........and, it sort of rubbed me the wrong way.

Nick Saban is not the reason.......He just complicated matters with the way I feel about Alabama as our #1 arch rival in the SEC. A lot of LSU fans might say our #1 arch rivals are either Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida, or Georgia......or even Auburn. But, I disagree! My #1 arch rival for LSU is Alabama in the SEC.:)

There are some teams outside the SEC that I just don't like either; and then, I would be for Alabama or Florida against those particular teams. Ask me and I'll tell you if it is one of them. I'm sure you know at least 3 or 4 of them. LOL :)

By the way, I really was a Demon........I used to play for the Northwestern State University Demons my freshman year before I transferred to LSU a year later. I went to LSU my junior and senior years.........And, I was long before bleeding purple and gold. I had been bleeding purple and gold for about 10 years when I started attending LSU..........

CORRECTION:

Probably BLEEDING PURPLE AND GOLD more like 7 or 8 years, not 10 years.:) I was about 20 years old when I first attended LSU; and I started bleeding purple and gold when I was about 12-13 years old.:)

Hell yeah........we'll be better. At LSU, we believe improvement is not just the way to go, it's the ONLY WAY to go. We will always get better. 2010 and 2011 are our years. We improve during the season and during the game (always).........And, if the refs had called the proper call, our offense would've improved we would've drove the ball down the field to take the lead, 22-21; and we'll never know if Alabama would've drove the ball right back down the field for Tiffin to kick the winning field goal. So, we go robbed out of having the opportunity to show the country that we are better than Bama.........just because they want an Alabama/Florida re-match in the SEC championship game. How sad can the SEC and its refs get!!!:|

Mr.Excuse, LSU won a NC w/ Saban's recruits and the Madd Hatter hasn't really come close to a repeat, just sayin.
