You can do this, men. EVERY unit on this team has finally demonstrated that you CAN do this! You're not done yet...but you're truly starting to look like the Buckeye team we knew you had the potential to be.

GO BUCKS...BEAT IOWA!

God, I hope Cameron Heyward and Thaddeus Gibson stick around to wreak havoc again next year. There is no answer to Heyward.

Actually there is and it's called maturity. You see it each and every week.

I like this mindset. It's remarkable how OSU owns November. If only they could bottle this and bust it out in September...and January

I agree with that hope the two stay to finish their degrees at OSU, but the big money lure of the NFL makes their leaving understandable. But should they go early, I also have the consolation that two more from this ulta-deep OSU defensive line will come in to take their place. Soph Nathan Williams is certainly able - fast and strong. We don't hear much about freshman Britt Dalton, but he is a punisher and will only get better and better. Last year, though they both showed flashes of being very good players, I don't think anyone could have predicted Heyward and Gibson would become the superstars they have. But that is the nature of rotating personnal and there will be others (maybe even more dominant) to replace them when the time comes.

Talent wise, this team is far better than any in the Big Ten and now with the offense coming along is better than any team in the Pac Ten. This article is right on the money. It is now about how the Buckeyes approach each game mentaly. They will be up for Iowa but must not let down for Michigan. sure U of M is a joke but that what they thought about Purdue. The Buckeyes need to go in the final game of the season with the mind set of putting no less than 40 points up on MI. and sending Rich Rod back to Ann Arbor to look for boxes to pack up his office.

No Mercy!!!!

A good kick in the butt always helps someone to get their minds on what they should be doing.

Should the Buckeyes want to win and the praise that goes with winning.....EARN IT....

I believe this forum had something to do with them understanding that. When your job is at stake, you tend to work harder.

Tress and Pryor rightfully have taken their lumps but the sign of good coaching and heart of a champ is the ability to get up off the deck, regroup and keep fighting. Contrast with that mess up north where the players have quit and the coaches are bickering on the sidelines. PLEASE appreciate what we have. I'll take a rock steady hand at the helm over glitz and gimic anyday. GO VEST, GO TERELLE GO BUCKS!

I think we're all learning that player mindset has a lot to do with what happens on Saturdays. They aren't machines that operate consistently every time someone hits the "on" switch. They are college kids, priviledged, but still maturing.
It isn't all coaching, though that certainly is factor too. We used to sing, "Good bye Woody, we hate to see you go," back in the 50's. I don't mind fans complaining about play calling -- I've done it too. But some comments I've seen in other forums are way over the top. Jim Tressel is not the ugly things some people call him. Unless you know him personally, please stick to football.

If the same team that played Penn State shows up, Iowa doesn't stand a chance.

What you say I hope is true. I think they had the "big head". Maybe that problem is gone now, we hope. I have said all along they had the horses. Also the coaches have been using Pryor a little better. It looks to me like they have given him a little more freedom. As I have said before he is an instinct player. I would like to see more bombs.

Interesting...Go back 3 weeks & get the emails posted blasting Tressel & Pryor. Everything from the coachs' firing to making TP a wide receiver.

FOCUS AND FINISH! This is senior week. What more should be necessary to get ready to play. For the seniors, it should come innately. For the rest, they owe it to the seniors to play their hearts out and not let up. Be there for them. Anything less would be shameful and a disgrace and not allow them to look any one of their seniors in the eye. Why would any player put in the time and work all season and allow this opportunity to get away? Just focus and finish----and don't read the press clippings, the hype on line or listen to the radio and TV know-it-alls. Any, or all, of those things will steal what you've worked for. FOCUS AND FINISH!

ATTITUDE!!! Dear Buckeye Fan: It's easy to have a good attitude when you beat an over-ranked PSU team. This week you will beat an over-ranked Iowa team and then your attitude will really be mile-high when you use Michigan as a doormat. The Buckeyes will probably be ranked around #6 at the end of the season. Then reality will set in when you again will be the doormat in a BCS Bowl game. Nothing like being over rated to get your attitude at a high level. GO GATORS!!!

Talk about over-rated. Florida isn't a fraction of recent past Gator teams. They're only good, not great, and that isn't good enough. Face it.

The Buckeyes looked like we expected them to look in the beginning of the year. They have come together and shown that they could overcome adversity. Go Bucks, win the big ten and the Rose bowl and get ready for next year.
For all those out there that Navy wasn't a tough team, Just ask Charlie and the Irish about that.
For Gator Gary, a Championship means nothing if you played no one to get to the game and the officals made calls to stop those that had you beat. Congradulations, don't hurt your shoulder patting yourself on the back! Go Bama!
