It's Time for Mike Price To go! The Price Isnt Right Any Longer! I dont Live in El Paso currently and had to watch this game online through the Tulane website. I can believe the lack of respect the Tulane Sports Casters have toward UTEP... UTEP is the laughing stock of NCAA football. Miner Defense how can you allow Tulane to score and tie the game with 1 second left!!!!!!!! Also its unacceptable for the Miner offense this late in the seasons still making too many mistakes and dropping too many passes! Coach Price when are you going to take ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!! You need to tread a little lighter 'Real Miner Fan'. Those so called 'min wage earners' are what sell out the Sun Bowl.

Here are two scenarios:

Scenario #1 I am exhausted, dark, and tired from a weeks work. I even had to work today (Sat). The Miners are winning, I will scrape the bottom of the barrel to give my family of four a great evening of football and will struggle the rest of the month to make ends meat.

Scenario #2-A program that is losing, and not so much losing, but with some players, not all, that do not play their hearts out. I think I will give them a good meal and maybe a movie.

This is the reality. We are not white collar, but blue collar. We work our a##es off and that is the way our team should play.

PS I really feel the UTEP Athletic Adm. monitor these post to get a vibe.

Fire Natalicio and her Lulac Chicano studies program and bring in a Chancellor who actually believes that athletics add to the college experience. They pay themselves handsomely and live off the funds that truly successful people in the private sector provide to them all in the name of making the University better. It's sad and pointless to have an argument with delusional fans who are in denial of the truth. Like my mom used to tell me when dealing with people like this "siguele la corriente," meaning to go along with whatever they say. So true miner fan, you're right. The miners are a great team and coach price is one of the best coaches in the NCAA. They just had a few tough breaks here and there and they could have done better...

No, fcuk that! This team has a bunch of pansies (except for Donald Buckram) with no balls and no courage. They could have won most of their games if they wanted to, but poor coaching, lack of discipline, and no confidence has done them in. They need somebody to bring some fire and passion to the game and make these kids play with guts, determination, and desire. Mike Price seems to be too soft and always makes excuses as to why they didn't perform. It's as if he is more interested in being popular and not hurting anyone's feelings. No more excuses Price! Go hard or go home! We've had it with this half-arse crap!

And True Miner Fan, I make a lot more than the minimum wage with my two degrees from UTEP, by the way.

Hey (real minor fan) UTEP not only lost to Tulane, they also lost to Texas, Kansas, and lets not forget buffalo lol. RMF(Real Minor Fan) you are pathetic just because UTEP beat a rank team you get all excited about it. I guess you are the type of person who always settle for less. Maybe UTEP Minors will do better in a division 2 or three football program. Dont worry you Minors Fans there is alwasy next year lol.

Coach Price's mannerisms, and total look of disgust and futility, tells a lot about his future plans here!
He finally showed the wear and tear, that wears a person down being the UTEP coach!
I saw the look of utter helplessness and despair, and looks just plain clueless about what ails the football team, on Mike Price's face! Wow, he looks really down!
So, just maybe UTEP will have new coaches next season!

I'm not sure who to blame..Maybe there is something in the air in El Paso. There have been many coaches and teams throughout UTEPs' history,with pretty much the same results. A strong start, mediocre seasons and the same ole MISTAKES WHICH COST THE GAME. I now refer to this syndrome as MINERBALL. I have been a fan for more years than I care to admit. This teams' victories, as El Pasos' annual rainfall,are few and far between. I learned to enjoy them when we get them. I will always cheer for the Miners when they play, and enjoy the victories and conference championships, and bowl games when they happen.Few and far between. Nuff Said.

A restraining order was taken against Swarup Sengupta of new mexico state university/EastTexas Sate university for assaulting/harassing an Indian student.
Swarup/Swaroop sengupta is now 49 years old.

I hope you are being sarcastic dude.....my grandma could could coach better defense than this current coaching staff....losing season after losing season, no bowl WIN in the past 40+ years, but you still believe???? ok, REAL MINER FAN, the first step to realizing you have a problem is understanding you are in denial, til then you are a lost cause, just like the miner football team.....let me ask you a question. what's wrong with asking for better? you go to a restaurant and order a meal, it comes back to you bad, under cooked, tastes horrible. do you still eat it because you believe in the company?? hell no!! you tell the manager and get a new plate for free!....same difference man with the UTEP program, you might be happy with them cause you "still believe" but for me, and apparently a countless number of others, which is rapidly growing, want better.......its fans like you "real miner fan" that's wrong with this town and its football program. you settle, while i strive for better.....i said good day
