What BS - "I underestimated their freshman quarterback," Price said. "Eventually what cost us the game was his excellent play." Try no defense!!!!!!!!

DUH - "There are a lot of things we could have done differently......."

Forwarned of another defeat -... Emmanuel Sanders, who leads the nation in touchdown receptions.

Look for players -'soul searching'

Same song - same verse "...the mistakes we made we won't make next time."

With all due respect Coach Price - you don't play them again this year! I think it's time to at least pretend that you know what is going on.

I think that utep should get rid of the football program. every year the utep minors are a joke, every year its the same old excuses. I think utep should try to create a mens baseball team or soccer team instead. The support its there its the team as a whole that dont want to win. the utep minors fans should stop going to the games for two consecutive seasons maybe that ought to motivate them to play balls out. yet most of this so call football players want to become a nfl player well keep dreaming boys.

It's to bad that we can't withhold paychecks until we see an increase in production from the coaching staff.

If UTEP football was a business - it would shut it's doors and file for Chapter 13.

Chapter 13 bankruptcy is also known as a reorganization.

UTEP's bend but don't break defense has proven to be a failure every game. If your first string players aren't working up to par, bench them and give your benched players a chance. Make these guys actually earn their playing time.

If I made the money coach made I try to say all the right things as to why we cant win too! But if I had the same performance at work I'd be gone ,and I don't make crap.( This is El Paso)

get new players. theyre unmotivated and full of themselves. the receivers cant catch a cold. the defense just plain sucks. all of them know that none of them have a chance of going pro. they suck. plain and simple.

Maybe it's time for TEP to hire a coach in waiting, someone young who can get away with losing.. Price should help.

All you whiners are pathetic. You don't know the first thing about coaching. Get back to your minimum wage jobs and boring lives and leave coaching to the professionals. Miners, some of us still believe in you. Bob Stulls, keep Coach Price as long as you want.

Seems to me the problem with Price is that he refuses to adjust his strategy to meet the abilities of his players. Miner defense was great until they started the 3-4 formation. No matter how bad it gets Price sticks with that defense. And don't even get me started on his refusal to remove Jordan Palmer, arguably the worst div 1 quarterback in the NCAA.

i rather spent my above wage money ($21.00 an hour) watching a real team play. You know the ones that actually win bowl games or go to the national championship. Even high school games are more excited to watch then the Minors games. Maybe the Minors should start playing out of town high schools instead. I bet Mayfield can kick the Minors ass. but then again its just me tired of the same story year after year. I guess a loser support another losser huh, since you like looser (miners) then you must be a losser.

I am ashamed to say that I graduated from UTEP, thank god I am going to UT next year. The Miners were good during the 2003-5 season, but now they are just a disappointment.

Real Miner Fan-You are in denial! They just lost to a terrible Tulane team and were slaughtered by the U. T. third team. All the coaches know the X's and O's, this group of coaches can't recruit good enough players to play at this level, period! If UTEP wants to win, drop out of div 1 and play at a lower level.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Cancer

If you want to avoid having a row with someone, get out and about as much as possible today so you can work off all your nervous energy. If you stay in one place for too long you'll be in danger of becoming moody, and possibly even a right old crosspatch. You might also lose your temper with loved ones who are being bolshie or who have the audacity to disagree with you about something. Lighten up, Cancer!
