College Football's Top 25 Toughest Places to Play

By Eric Holden | Yahoo! Contributor Network – Wed, Aug 15, 2012 4:46 PM EDT

The loudest, wildest fans in college football can be found at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Over 100,000 rowdy college students pack into the stadium on any given football Saturday, the same way they have been since it opened in 1922. Narrowing the rest of the top stadium atmospheres in college football down to just 25 schools is a truly subjective task, as there's no clear methodology for quantifying what makes for a "great" stadium atmosphere.

Perhaps it's the loudness generated from the crowd, or maybe it's the energy of the team. No one knows for sure how to define it, but some stadiums just seem to have that special "it factor" that makes a place great.

Defense wins games especially creating turn overs and scoring without the offense, but without your offense at least being able to score some points the B1G may have more for ya than you think!

Alabama really is that good, no doubt. But MSU was missing 9 players, mostly on defense, during that Alabama game. I do think against Georgia MSU showed their true colors. And Mark D'antonio is a defensive genius in football.

My dark horse in the B1G conference this year is Northwestern. They beat Nebraska last year and are very good at driving other teams crazy.

Despite all the symbolic disciplinary actions throughout the newly aligned conferences, the SEC is still the only conference that remains “self-regulating.” That is, they discovered long ago that you only get caught and penalized if you turn yourself in and they aren’t going to do that. Then, they make fun of those teams that do. Hence Trent Richardson's mother

s.e.c.
No doubt about it
To win the PAC USC will have to beat an Oregon team that can't Find the word defense in a dictionary. And a rebuilt Stanford
Tide will have to beat LSU Arkansas Auburn South Carolina
And the dawgs....
UGA1......
About the opener
Bo Oliver and Khalil Mack will both play for pay
After that....it gets depressing....
See you at the opener....

Except when opponents play USC because we will be one of the most prolific scoring machines ever witnessed this coming season. With 5 to 6 first round players constantly touching the ball on offense this year, we will outscore everyone on our way to the National Championship!

The point is USC is the only PAC team that would have a winning record if they were SEC
Half dozen SEC team would be able to win the PAC
