Unless of course you think your Frosh QB can outperform Daryl Clark? Not likely, go back to the cornfields, rest up that ankle and enjoy the Outback bowl.

Iowa were posers before Stanzi got hurt...Thier D has been over-rated. OSU in a blowout 35-3. Tress will have the grounds crew on the field when the Hawkeyes get on the board.

If OSU plays Oregon in the Rose Bowl I hope the team we play is the one that lost to Stanford.

The Pac Ten champion could be one of three teams. I hope another team other than USC is in the Rose Bowl. This is a home game for USC and with six weeks to prepare for a game they will rise to the occassion as they have done almost every year. It won't take Pete C. Long at all to get his defense prepared for Tressel's six plays.

Actually, Pappy's Palace 12th Man has long been
the Big Ten Conference on-field & booth review "Mr. Magoo" officials' crew!!!

Last Saturday's game was an OSU shutout.
Awaiting still for the Big Ten Conference to release an official statement indicating that
PSU's touchdown was, in fact, not a touchdown.
A straightaway apology is in order, eh?

FIRST, The Buckeyes HAVE to beat iou and meatchicken.

carl, i was thinking the same thing after reading gordy's comment about hoping The Buckeyes face the ducklings in the Rose Bowl.

if tressel game plans and prepares this team superbly, then i think The Buckeyes are one of the best in the country. the ultimate responsibility for attaining full potential resides with the coach. the coach must put these men in position to defend, and call ingenious plays for the offense to succeed.

GO BUCKS!

I like the debate on the noisiest stadium. I actually think we Buckeyes have the worst fans. The only time fans get involved in the game is when there is a BIG play at stake (and sometimes not even then.) It is so frustrating to see fans just sit on their butts and ask those of us who want to stand to please sit down! What can we do this weekend to get fans involved and show the team our support throughout the entire game? GO BUCKEYES!!!!

I love how the credit is spread to all the folks who had minor roles in sat win. Ray Small (Jims favorite) put us in position for every major score and nothing is mentioned about it. The NFL scouts are dying laughing at the press and OS publicist for skiping over him because he will be the first one taken off this team.

Were you at the USC Game? Last year's Michigan or PSU game?? Granted, the stadium does not go nuts over a TD against NMSU or Youngstown St but really? The only time we pay attention to PSU is when WE are there and in Ohio Stadium last year for PSU, I'll bet a lot of their fans thought we were pretty noisy. A lot of comments regarding the energy in the stadium for USC this year. Point is, not many teams come in here and win, so we must be doing something pretty well. Go Bucks!

OSU loves to host so called good Iowa teams. Check your history and shield the young ones eyes cause this one has the makings of a bad prison movie. OSU-31 Hackeyes-6

They have some funny tasting Kool-aide in Iowa also obviously! There's no way in hell the Hawkeyes hang 36 points on that defense. You'll be eating some crow come Saturday!

If Iowas defense is as good as everyone says look for them to pressure TP into mistakes & turnovers. Indiana opened that door & I'm surprized no team since has done it.
I look for Iowa to crowd the line & stuff the running game, like I said pressure TP when he drop backs to pass into mistakes & being coached well will keep their positons & not let the end arounds get to the the outside & down the field

Hey Hawker, I know we all support our team and hope for a decisive victory, but how is your prediction rooted in reality? You didn't blow anyone out like that at home with your starting quarterback all year. Now you're going to do it in the Shoe against one of a handful of the best defenses in college football coming off a demorializing loss and a back up qb that has had one week to prepare (while our offense appears to be significantly improved)? I'll be the first to eat some crow in here on Monday morning if you beat us by more than 3 tds. Otherwise, I'd suggest you post only after the effects of your illicit drugs wear off.
