Nice autopsy, fellas. But unfortunately for those that love good, Big Ten football, this Saturday WILL be "anti-climactic". Some said (myself included) when Dennis Dixon went down and Oregon folded like a cheap suit that it was proof that the Heisman was/is flawed as he clearly "meant the most to his team". I'd argue that Iowa this year with Ricky Stanzi is the same. I think that Iowa's D is very good, but not all that deep and I think they'll be able to hang for about a half before tOSU's depth wears them down and out. Buckeyes 24 - 0.

As an Ohio expatriate stuck in the midst of PSU country, I cannot adequately express my gratitude for that fine victory, and for the silence I enjoyed this morning in my workplace. Thanks, boys, and Go Bucks!

Ken, as much as I think tOSU and Oregon would be a fun match-up, I still would rather see Ohio State have another crack at USC. I agree with Terrelle Pryor; we should have beaten them by three touchdowns in September. Now that our offense is coming together, I'd love to see the Bucks play and this time own USC for a change.

Why do people think Tim Tebow deserves the Heisman...Compare his numbers to Sophomore Terrelle Pryor of Ohio State.

TEBOW 1531 passing yards 11 TD and 4 INT
578 yards rushing and 9 TD

PRYOR 1668 passing yards 15 TD and 9 INT
607 yards rushing and 7 TD

......Tebow doesn't even deserve to be an ALL AMERICAN!

Ken, I was thinking that Pryor's bum ankle was making him a better QB, but I was afraid to say it. He seemed more patient and poised and less prone to dancing. Was it his ankle or has it just clicked for him. I hope the latter.

Iowa is vulnerable but extremely dangerous. We SHOULD win, but gotta do it between the lines.

Go Buckeyes!

Vandenburg had no practice time at all before Northwestern. The Wildcats are good team that was tied with Penn State after three quarters. Iowa didn't lost to Miami (O). After a week of practice, Vandenburg is going to be better prepared. The best defense to before Saturday was against Wisconsin and yet the next week the offense and the defense laid eggs. These are college kids and Iowa's coaching staff is good. This is not a given. The Hawkeyes have to feel like they can stop the OSU running game. If that's the case, it's the QB who makes the fewest mistakes.

It was a good win. But there are no "givens" with this team (see Purdue). And Oh My G--. Dude,(or Dudette) that statement:

"They'll have what will feel like 12 weeks to get ready for the Rose Bowl after they beat Michigan."

When did that ever help???? FL...LSU...TX...?? Sheesh!!!

One game does not a season make......we will need another good offensive game to beat Iowa with or without Stanzi. The cohesiveness of an O line is one of the keys going into the Iowa. We better have our A game and want to dominate at the point of attack if we want the game.

Don't worry....THE BUCKS GOT THIS...just sit back and enjoy....as I said before, we've waited a long time for a big game win...speaking of one game...what say we had beaten USC? And when you think about it we physically beat the stuffing out of them...they still haven't recovered....all we needed is that lost to Purdue and the Buckeye Nation to put a little pressure on the coaches....this team will be fine...as long as we play on both sides of the field like last Saturday........GO BUCKS!!!!

OSU hasn't played a dominating team like Iowa. We have the real deal defense and even if we have to use our backup QB, he will have had a week to settle in with the first team. The Nuts are in for a very BIG shock!

Hawkeyes - 36
Nuts - 10

Momentum will be the deciding factor this Sat., and that is on the side of the Buckeyes. Northwestern was making a move on Iowa BEFORE the Iowa coaching "Brain Trust" called for that bootleg in the end zone that got Stanzi hurt. If I were Stanzi, when that ankle gets better, I would put the foot it is attached to in the butt of whoever called that play coach or not!

This is the same dominatinating team that almost lost to Northern Iowa and Arkansas St? Almost lost to Indiana giving up 6 turnovers and got the benefit of the worst call, besides the LSU int. That Frosh QB will be running for his life from the kickoff. Northwestern can never be confused with OSU this year. Not comparable in any way, shape or form. Get off the crack, thanks to the Purdue loss, we will be dialed in, my Buckeyes are gonna throw the Hawkeyes a beating. No disrespect, Iowa has overachieved and had a great season, but without Stanzi you're dead. OSU 31-14
