I have to agree with most points except coaching. Assuming you are referring to on the field coach (excluding recruiting) I think it is more like a B+. True, many fans believe the play calling has been shaky and the O-Line can't pass protect consistently (see glennon and western KU), but Beamer has done a fine job managing and winning games that could have well been lost. With such a young team, were are lucky to be 5-1. Over the next 2 years the ACC will become one of the best and deepest conferences. The head coaches are quality up and down the conference and the teams are all young now.

How you can give this coaching staff a grade of C in the midst of a 5-1 start with the youth on this team is beyond me...

With all the economic problems and you waste time on grading Beamers thug football team. No wonder Americans are scorned around the world now.

Thug players are long forgotten but the pain of losing their savings will be with people for years.

Get your priorities straigt and quit wasting space on here.

VT would serve Virginia better if it eliminated Beamer and his thugs and put it's efforts into educating students.

Looking at coaching staffs across the country in the BCS, then looking at the ACC and even the difference within the state of VA I think VT is well served in the Beamer staff this year. I would like more from the offense, but in totality I feel better about my young VT team than most at Auburn or Clemson and arguably Georgia, USC, etc. These are teams that have had extraordinary recruiting class (at least based on the numbers) and now look quite overrated. VT knew this would be a year for us to grow and develop young people moreso than in the past. I think I'll keep Beamer and Co... and give them an A-. I wouldn't mind some help on offense though.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Leo

Why are you still fighting, Leo? Everyone else went home a long time ago, but you're still here pounding your fists on the table. Although you don't want to admit it, accepting defeat may be your most practical option at this point. Sometimes it's just easier to move on than to keep up the fight. When you're forced to restructure, at least you have a chance to redefine. YouÕl get the opportunity to start with a clean slate, so use it to your advantage.
