Big deal, they won some bottom-of-the-barrel bowl. Excuse me if I'm not impressed.

I wonder who's fault the two int's were? They couldn't have been the Golden Boy's fault...he's infallible. As far as "rocking the game plan", how many points did SC score? Thats right..24..against a middle of the road Big East team. Wake me next year when SC decides to score more than 30 a game..like they should.

Then I don't want to hear you open your piehole if by some chance UCLA wins its "very bottom-of-the-barrel" bowl against that annual intersectional powerhouse Temple.

Good point, hard to take a team called the "Owls" very seriously.

If a bowl is named after a pizza joint or similar commercial enterprise, that's a hint that it's a c*** matchup.

My college is playing in something called the Outback Bowl. Not sure if it's named after the Subaru or the steakhouse.

Do they call the cheerleaders "Hooters?"

Probably named for that little "house" out back of the house.

Don't get offended by my previous post .... Oregon once played
in the Weedeater Independence Bowl in Shreveport.
We were so marginal the AD guaranteed the sale of
something like 10,000 tickets to buy our way in.

I'm still surprised that Viagra hasn't bought
rights to one of the bowls.

Imagine .... "Get up for the game!"

In practice, Temple doesn't use footballs... they use pellets.

It probably would be a "hard fought match" but there could be trouble and need to call in a doctor if the game lasted went into overtime and lasted over 4 hours.

Yep, they did it again. They just beat the worst team in the bowl games. They tried to give it away but BC didn't want it.

VERY FUNNY! I bet when the captains go to the 50 yard line for the coin toss the referee will be "Smilin' Bob".

You suppose Smilin' Bob will flag 'em for illegal use of the hands?

Either that or blocking in the "back", maybe? Or maybe an illegal hit to the "head"!

If a team won the Emerald Bowl, but had to cheat to get there, is it something to be proud of?

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
