USC could find motivation hard to come by in Pac-10 opener

Full story: Daily Breeze

With nine of 10 Pacific-10 Conference teams facing national criticism, Oregon State could use some type of motivational tactic to combat the unenviable task of playing top-ranked USC tonight at Reser Stadium.

USC SUCKS!!!!!!!!! How many times have I been on these forms, left and right and have said...USC has good players, but the Team CHOKES...THEY ARE CHOKE ARTISTS, for soo many seasons they have had good teams, but what do they do? They lose against teams like Oregon State in 2006 and now in 2008 and Stanford in 2007. CHOKE ARTISTS at their best!!!.
I feel sorry for you guys because USC has good players, but they always CHOKE!!! UCLA football is rebuilding, and they will never throw away opportunities for National Championships like USC has for the last 3-4 years!!!!
UCLA not good this year in football, but still rebuilding season. But still:
USC SUCKS!!! PERIOD..........

USC in the Pete Carroll era wins because of generally vastly superior talent than their opponents. Carroll's teams are undisciplined (and often mirror the prima donna character Carroll exudes) , and when put to the test with a team that doesn't cower in fear to USC, often chokes.

Its funny that all of you closet bruin fans come out of closet. After getting beat 57-0, I don't really think you have much to say.

Losing to BYU 56-0 is a lot more upsetting then losing 27-21 to an average oregon state football team. Lets also throw ASU into the mix they lost to an average UNLV team much like USC did. I love all the trolls that come around USC after USC losses a game, it just shows how much jealously exists for a historic program. By the way, the Stanford loss was a lot more upsetting then this one is. The season is still very young and crazy things can happen.

...UCLA will never throw away opportunities for a NC because the opportunity will never exist in the first place. Just How many titles does FUCLA have? Is that 0 I hear??? Oh wait, maybe there was 1, but I believe that one was disputed.

Yeah, we blew it tonight. Some bad play calls, not taking care of the ball, and Sanchez making a costly mistake. But there's no excuses for losing to OSU other than we didnt execute plays and their running back and O-line was phenomenal. Yes, we should learn from this game and build off of it. But one of the bigger losses could actually have been Rey. We should have enough talent to bounce back.

''It doesn't matter that they lost because we were gonna beat them in dec anyways"

LOL, we'll see Joe Bruin. But what makes you so confident? A 59-0 loss to a Mountain West Conference opponent? Aside from this loss, the combined amount of points Carroll lost by in the 14 games he didn't win was by a combined of 59 points. Let the facts stand by themselves. Who know, maybe you guys just might pull the upset. Until then, stick with basketball.

usc steve, Trojan Man, and STB - where are you?? you pices of worthless crap bandwagon fans, Y R U hiding?? to the real Trojan Fans I offer my condolences, it was a tought game for you I'm sure. Oregon State came out to play and wanted this game more.

And for those sc fans that will say "you lost to BYU 59-0, I say who cares, by halftime we accepted our team is not very good, and we didn't care about the loss. On the the other hand this loss will hurt you all season long and nightmares will follow you for months. So please don't compare the two outcomes - there is NO COMPARISON, period.
