Ricky Kovatch is going to have a huge game for WVU and no one knows who he is. He gets no mention in this article.

if you visit the msnsports.net you will often see his credits. unfortunately, rick kovatch only had one play except for special teams in the auburn game. imo,he knocked that auburn player butt over butt in typical mountaineer fashion, losing his helmet in the process. great kid with a great future at wvu.

Stewart is a country bumpkin. WVU is winning despite him. So he had to replace some talented players. No other coach has this problem? He had plenty of time to prepare Devine, Sanders, Arnett, and Jalloh before their first game, a drubbing at ECU because Stewart wouldn't pass the ball. Next came Colorado; same one-dimensional methodical unimaginative playcalling and WVU loses in overtime when they could have won it easy in regulation with a field goal if Stewart knew anything about clock management. Against Rutgers he inexplicably "goes for it on fourth and one" in WVU territory, failing, and giving RU a chance to at least tie the game in a final drive. Even Syracuse held WVU's one-dimensional game plan in check until the final quarter. The "diversification" displayed in the game against Auburn was there all along. White is a very accurate passer (70%) and deserves to be given the chance to play at the next level. Stewart hindered his chances by running him early resulting in an inevitable injury. If the Mountaineers were going to lose to ECU and Colorado I would have prefered seeing them lose with White throwing the ball every down, just to give this amazing running QB the chance he has earned year after year to compile impressive passing statistics and play in the NFL.

the wvu mountaineer football team isn't about one player's statistics or accomplishments, even pat white will tell you that. mountaineers are 50-10(or so)past 5yrs and they accomplished that total with teamwork. we have some great players on the team this year, find the wvu/u conn game(noon) on tv and watch some of those players shine...tom

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Sagittarius

You'll feel friendly with everyone you meet today, and you might even be lucky financially. Money should be coming in, but going out rather fast as well... Astral influences will keep you on your toes, and will probably make you flirtatious, but they could also make you moody. This makes it tricky for close relationships to run on an even keel. The truth is, perhaps you don't want too much closeness at the moment. Your partner probably knows that you're often like this, by now, anyway.
