LSU can play with them if they let Jefferson throw the dang ball down the field and change the play prior to the snap. LSU's offense is getting way too predictable with these specialty play players like Shepard and Holliday. Bama looks good this year.

I know sports analysts are critical of Alabama because of the close score, but I actually thought it was the best game of the weekend. The two blocks by Terrence Cody are an instant ESPN classic. That guy reminds me of Refrigerator Perry of the Chicago Bears except that Cody is actually about 50 lbs heavier, which is absurd. The announcer joked about him blocking the kick with his stomach. But the defensive plays were legitimate. The SEC title game will be fierce down here in the Confederate Region. The best of the south are the beautiful southern belles like in Georgia and Alabama. Some of those Southern Baptist women sure do like Catholic guys from Arizona. It reminds me of that old John Wayne movie "The Undefeated" with the Confederates of the Bible Belt.

You are not lying about the southern belles. We've got our share in Louisiana as well. We always, always, always had a great time during our student years going to all of the home games and many of the Auburn, Bama, Ole Miss, and Georgia away games. Good times.
