Damn, Bama is losing a lot, no experience at QB (not that JPW was any good), Best linemen, and their best RB......Next year will be a long one

Amazing the projections for next season is already out and has Alabama ranked #8. Never despair, never give up on my team. No name athletes always come from somewhere, so ya never know what ol Bama has in store for 09.

Doesn't matter, they were over-rated this year and were exposed, doesn't mean that they weren't good, just not #1-#8 good. I have said the same about my team in 2006, they had us ranked #2 at one point in the season. I knew we had some good players but I knew we weren't that good. We were exposed in the Sugar Bowl. Like Notre Dame, Alabama gets legacy bounce in the polls. I do hope that they are good next year. As I do Notre Dame, we will vastly improved, unlike you, we had coaches that didn't bring in talent for quite a while before Charlie got there, Even Shula had good recruiting classes at Bama. Unfortunately we don't benefit from a lot of instate talent so we have to look futher and Lazy recruiting, even one class hurts us more than most. You have Satan coaching, but he is a good recruiter and a good head coach, Charlie is an awesome recruiter but he is learning on the job about being a head coach and how to develope young talent. He is from the NFL where you don't develope much, you have to know how to use what you have because they are all pretty good. Saban, he sucked at that, he is one of the top 5 in college though.
Good Luck and I hope to see you in a bowl soon. I always like our chances against the Tide. Go Irish

JP is a good college QB. Good, not great. But, I dont think he is good enough to go pro.

no not good, he only looked good when the running game was doing really well, when they had to depend of the pass he was horrible. He is/was avg at best. I promise you Julio is glad he is gone.

He wasnt horrible. You dont know what your talking about. No offense. Julio isnt what he is said to be. Everybody thinks hes some miracle player on the team. But, did you see the dude play in the Sugar Bowl? Crap, that was sick. He wasnt good. Hell probably end up being another DJ Hall. Just catching the ball good, but cant do anything with it. I cant wait to see McElroy play. I think he is gonna be really good.

He would have done good in the Sugar Bowl, but the crappy Oline wasnt protecting him AT ALL. Hey, I have an idea. You just shutup and listen. I KNOW what Im talking about. LOL. I understand that you think he was bad, but hes not as bad as you say he is. If you were gonna talk bad about him, it should have been last year. Yeah, thats when he was horrible.

P.S. HE WONT GO PRO!!!!!!! ;-)

I think we will a bunch more wins, it is quality wins that I am looking for. Actually beating U$C's ass is what I want. We have a new O line coach, and we have vets on the O-Line for the first time since 06. We'll see how he does with them and if he can help improve the run game. The D-line is Young but the LBs and secondary should be pretty awesome. We have great recievers so we ought to be able to stretch the field quite a bit. I am prety happy with where we stand right now, undefeated in 09.
