There is now a team from Michigan,

To beat OSU is their wish again,

But losing six straight,

Seems likely their fate,

That vict'ry, those boys, they will miss again.

The only question is whether OSU will score 50, 60, or 70 points against Michigan. I wonder though, how much longer this game will be a true rivalry. These programs used to be so similar, and now the difference between them is like night and day. OSU is still OSU, but UM has become Northwestern of the 1970s. Five years from now, will Buckeye fans still regard this as the "big" game? If your arch rival is so bad that you can pretty much guarantee a victory every year, doesn't that set the bar kind of low? The only hope we have up here is that Jim Harbaugh comes home--he's the only one who can save us. If not, we might as well join the MAC.

Until the Suckeyes can surpass the ALL TIME WINNINGEST DIVISION IA football program in history, they just need to keep their mouths shut. U of M's win-loss record against OSU is still in the plus column also. Michigan may be down right now, but they will bounce back. Then it will be OSU's turn to be on the losing side once again.

A blowout would be great vs Michigan but the Wolverines are at home and have a bowl bid on the line. As bad as they've been I'm sure they will bring it and give it their best shot. This isn't like the Cooper era where they crapped their pants every Michigan game, but after the Purdue game this year, this game can't be considered a gimme. Go Bucks

Don't lose focus and look ahead Buckeyes! The air is right for an upset. You've already clinched a portion of the Big Ten, Rose Bowl bound, the ticker on the top of the Dispatch, don't get caught with your pants down!

Go Bucks!

I am the most avid Buckeye fan BUT I also know this team and ITS COACH! These teenagers will be so overconfident and our coach will be so overconservative that I am scared.
Michigan has everything to gain and nothing to lose. We have clinched what we need and, uh, there's the teenagers and our coach thingy.

The only bowl that the Wolverines will be reaching is the bowl full of tortilla chips and salsa as they watch The Buckeyes in the Rose Bowl....
It may be another close one but the Bucks will pull it off.

Don't worry Marshawn. Michigan has zero chance to win. I'm a Michigan fan, I know. Here's how it works. Take OSU's average offensive output this season and add 14 points. Those will be from the two huge plays (50+) yards that OSU will rack up against the pathetic M defense in the second half. This is no longer a rivalry.

Michigan has been on TV just about every week here in the Central Ohio market so we've all had an opportunity to watch their defense quite a bit.-And it's terrible. The Buckeyes ought to be able to fall out of bed on Saturday and drop a 30 spot on them?

That said, if I were a Michigan fan I would be praying and wishing for The Vest to play his patented brand of "Tressel ball" and keep the game unnecessarily close - and then hope the Buckeyes turn it over frequently. That's their best and only chance to beat State this Saturday.

These things I know:
1)Pryor is more banged up than he is letting on.
2)In most close games, Tress will allow the opposition back into the game.
3)The second part of the regular season has begun.
