Sad day for Bauserman. Guiton is clearly the #2 QB. Give him a couple of top-notch receivers and this guy will cook!

I know this was just a spring practice game, but, I said it during the season and will say it again, this kid Kenny Guiton is a QB. He was not well known but when the recruiter saw him he was immediately offered a scholarship. OSU could have picked up any QB to play 3rd string. Not downing TP. Just saying I believe he will have more breathing room this year. Joe and Kenny will really strengthen us this next season..

As expected, Pryor didn't play much, but good to see Guiton give Bauserman a run for his money. At least if something terrible happens and Pryor goes down we have another guy that might be able to step in and not have a huge dropoff. Also as expected, even with a lot of second and third teams, the defenses were great for the most part.

I think Kenny can give all of them a run for their money. Great arm. Get some playing time under his belt and I think he will be great.

No disrespect Terrelle - we love you - but we have a back-up. Guiton is going to be a great #2 and eventual #1.(sorry Bauserman but two picks in a spring game?). Guiton is athletic, moves well, has good instincts and throws well... Hope we can still get Cardale Jones? Way to go Guiton, glad you came to OSU

I think rich rod sent one of his goons to scout the game today. There was one guy who wore a mi jersey. The usher said I wouldn't even wear that jersey in ann arbor. Hahaha.

Who thinks Pryor is a flop? I was expecting more from him coming out of high school. Anyone else?

No question Guiton can play. I saw him in the Texas HS playoffs his senior year; he can sling it. Pretty quick feet too; he turned the corner on a few option plays and was up the sideline in a heartbeat. A little careless with the ball at times when he tried to force it and got picked. He'll keep getting better with more reps.
Brutus; did the Stoneburner kid get any balls thrown his way??

Stoneburner had several thrown his way early by Pryor. Looks like another solid receiver sitting in the TE spot.

I think Guiton runs the 40 in 4.657493234343.
And that is pretty quick.
Good luck Buckeyes.

After the game, the players exited the stadium up the ramp at the north entrance. Apparently people knew they were coming and waited to ask for autographs. Posey signed everything that was put in front of him. The sheriff who escorted him back to the whac kept telling him we have to go. Most of the players walked back to the whac and fans stopped all of them for autographs and pics.

"Each time the sackers appeared to beat left tackle Andrew Miller, who went into the game battling Mike Adams -- playing on the Scarlet -- for the starting job on the overall first-team line."
A little sales job for the local guy by Mr. May of The Columbus Dispatch. After all, Miller is from Pennsylvania, isn't he. Doesn't really matter if we dump on him a little, huh? It "appeared?" That's pretty weak.

Tim May, that was excellent reporting. No fluff, great facts, and the bottom line. Well done!

Stoneburner made some nice catches over the middle...if this is any indication, he may be a nice weapon in the fall...I think Pryor likes throwing to him...:-)
