They be hiding! Licking their wounds. I've got to say yesterday's game was a very good one. I'd rather watch a game that's close in score than an absolute runaway game. Go Heels!!!

I am a major Tar Heel fan ... I received two Master's from Carolina and support ALL their athletic programs.

I am pleased with how well the basketball teams have done this season. I am particularly happy that Ty, Wayne and Danny decided to return to school.

Yesterdays game was GREAT, no better way for any senior class to go out, beating your number one rival.

For all the people on the other thread talking junk about Tyler Hansbrough, I have this to say: I am not a big Tyler fan because I don't think he has a Carolina attitude, but a Duke attitude instead. With that said, he gives 100% each time he walks onto the court - he plays hard and is dedicated. Like it or not, he is one of the best players to play in the ACC and in college period (remember he STAYED in school when so many others bailed).

I don't know what next season will hold, playing sports means someone is going to win and someone is going to loose. When Carolina looses, I don't offer excuses, because it is part of the game. I do know Carolina has proven they can win without Tyler Hansbrough and I do know they have a great recruiting class coming in. Roy Williams and the Carolina program is a class act, so they will be able to recruit quality players.

I wish Carolina nothing but good luck and success in the upcoming ACC tournament and the NCAA tournament (and remember, the last National Title they won came after looking in the ACC Tournament).

GO HEELS!

"going to loose"
Perhaps you mean, "lose".
Don't mean to give you the "Third degree", pun intended.

Wait a minute -- Tyler doesn't have a "Carolina attitude, but a Dook attitude"??? How can you claim to be a major Heel fan and make a statement like that?!?! I guess I'd love to hear your definition of both attitudes, because in my dictionary there's a picture of Tyler beside Tar Heel.

As you yourself mentioned, he plays hard and is dedicated. Is that not the Carolina way that was implemented under Dean Smith?? The big thing to me is that he isn't a whiner -- which would qualify him for the Dook attitude you claim he has. Tyler gets the crap beat out of him in every game, but have you ever seen him complain to an official? Have you ever seen him get a technical? Even after Henderthug broke his nose last year? I haven't. His expression never changes during the game. It's that same focused stare throughout.

Now if that's not a "Carolina attitude" then I guess I don't know what is!!

GO HEELS!!!

No true Carolina fan would ever say such a thing regarding Tyler Hansbrough. You may have earned 2 degrees from Chapel Hill but you apparently did not follow the basketball program very closely if you think Tyler has a Duke attitude.

nobody, I mean NOBODY, whines to the refs more than Coach K. If he talked to his players as much as he complained to the refs, Duke would never lose a game. And as far as floppping goes, how old are you? 8? Duke is recognized the world over as the birthplace of the overly-dramatic flop, originally taught by Coach K. and first perfected by one Danny Ferry. The flop was taken to even greater levels of dramaticism by Christian Laetner, Bobby Hurley, Trajen Langdon, and saw it's climax with the play of the very tiny "Wojo".
This concludes your Basketball history class for today. And do try to be better prepared for the next class.

and BTW, the ACT article title is incorrect. the title goes to the tournament winner, not the regular season champ, which is what they should have printed.

I heard that Wojo once flopped so hard that he flug himself through the window of a second story chemistry lab while there was an exam going on.

Actually the ACC reconizes both the regular season champs and the tourney champs, but it is the tourney champ that gets the automatic bid to the BIG DANCE.

Before JJ left Duke, he avoided a license check. The cops stopped him and he was drunk. He was charged with DUI. JJ lost his license and now the all time ACC scoring record to - Psycho T.
