Im a skilled construction worker I guess I should be making more then my boss/owner then he can lose his business and I can lose my 80k a year, no thanks lol

A bad economy affects the sports world too athletes! people all over this country are taking pay cuts, hours lost, jobs lost, lives lost! Nba owners have to tweek a few things not for the sake of themselves but for their franchise so it still exists 10yrs from now. And if that means cutting your 8 million per yr salary to 7.5 mill or taking shorter contracts then do it, I know it sounds rough lol, but it's the world we live in now. Selfishness being displayed to it's highest level.

Reports have leaked that the holdup in negotiations is the players wanting to get paid on the 1st and 15th of each month with hard spendable cash in attache cases. Neat $100.00 and $50.00 dollar bills only. No checks, direct deposits, or foreign banks involved.

Let's get down and come to an agreement somewhere in the middle. Not especially leaning one way or the other. With the lockout settled, attendance will be waaaaay down. Fans are spending money on the holidays, hockey, and future baseball games.
It will be easy to hear fans farting in the seats if watching any games on TV.
