Other players give a crap. Perception among free agents is important. Since the Bulls can't outbid Miami for Wade, his perception of the Bulls is extremely important since money won't be the determining factor.
Being a "sportswriter" doesn't seem to indicate insight into a sport anymore.
A few "idiots" think it was a bad signing so it must be. What a lot of idiots don't understand is how many teams did want Gordon but weren't in a financial position to offer him a 10 mil a year salary, but again this post is from a guy who thinks Thabo should be a star by now, thought TT was more valuable than Amare etc etc.
Your post are gifts that keep on giving....
Show me an article where Wade badmouthed the Bulls?
I know he said to sign Gordon, who is probably his pal.
Big deal.
But where did he badmouth the Bulls?
Was there a piece somewhere of the highly-sought-after interviews these players gave with Mgray and that other dimwit, the Southside something or other?

You reject anything that makes sense. Only you would think Boozer wouldn't help the Bulls win more games. Why not compare Utahs record in a tougher conference against what the Bulls have done over the same time span.
Your new name is Nada SOS. Stuck on Stupid.
Boozer's lazy and would come to Chicago to retire...
Thomas still has upside...
Hinrich will show the dimwit fans (like yourself) how mistaken you are.
I don't see this deal being anything special.
It would be better than getting Stoudemire, though.
He would be a disaster.

Close to what Wade and the rest of the free agents have to say. I know...
I can imagine this conversation...

Lifetime: Yo' JR. What's up man.
Smith: Who the hell are you?
Lifetime: I'm just a fan. The Bulls suck, don't they?
Smith: The Chicago Bulls?
Lifetime: Yeah. The team that dumped you.
Smith: I don't have any comment about them, but they don't suck. They made the playoffs last year, didn't they?
Lifetime: Yeah but, you must be bitter about how they let you go.
Smith: I don't even think about it. I know I hated the weather there.

So, there you have it. Smith ripped the Bulls over the cold Chicago winters.

Oh, and then Mgray's conversation with Wade...

Mgray: Yo' Wade, wassup.
Wade: Do I know you?
Mgray: We met a few years back. I'm a friend of Terry Cummings'.
Wade: Terry who?
Mgray: Anyway, the Bulls suck, don't they?
Wade: Yo' freak. Do you realize your dick is hanging out of your pants? You don't expect me to sign that tiny thing, do you?
Mgray: Sorry man. The Bulls suck, don't they?
Wade: No they don't suck.
Mgray: But, they have No Action Paxson doing nothing again.
Wade: Man. Get outta my face. Some of their fans suck, I can tell you that.

So there you have it.
Wade told Mgray that the Bulls' fans suck because Gray portrayed himself as a Bulls' fan.

I didn't say he or anyone else said anything negative about the Bulls. Tim Duncan nor Tracy McGrady said anything about the Bulls but their reputation preceded them. Do you really think other players didn't hear the "organizations win championship comment". You are delusional if you don't understand how perception makes the difference.
The fact is our hopes are now pinned on what might happen in 2010 and that is a dumbarse way for a big time franchise to operate. What is the point of being one of the top markets, have passionate fans and selling out the stadium if you can't do better than the Bulls current lineup? Show me an article where Wade said he and Gordon were pals? Maybe you could actually backup your nonsense with an article instead of trying to call others out.

Boozer is lazy (your opinion)and a 20 and 10 player.

Thomas upside and potential, code words for ain't done jack. Boozer 20 and 10 and a low post double team threat. Even you can understand how that is a good thing for a team without a double team threat.

What is Hinrich going to show that he hasn't already? From one dimwit to another, I like Hinrich and have said I still believe he can start for a number of teams (never let facts get in your way though) but I won't overrate him as you do. He won't get to control the ball much since Rose is going to play 50 minutes a night. Hinrich becomes less effective at his best position due to lack of minutes. He will be what he is, a decent backup on this team.

Hinrich, if not dealt, will get lots of time with Salmons moving back and forth at 2 and 3 and the Bulls playing a 3-guard offense.
If you want to call yourself a dimwit, that's fine and I'm sure nobody here would argue...
But, under no circumstances can you put me in any league with you.

Under no circumstances would I attempt to. For all the obvious reasons.

Have you have talked to VDN about his plans for the team? Hinrich's best position is the point and you think having him on the floor moving back and forth from the 2 to 3 would make sense. I thought you were a fan of the Bulls?

I said Salmons would be moving from the 2-3.
Not Hinrich.

I am not an insider by any stretch, but does it really matter about reputation? This is a HUGE market for a player, in a city with a solid fan base that can really get behind its team (I was at the triple OT win against Boston and that crowd was amazing). Guys have to want to play here....and it looks like we will have nearly 25 mil next year to work with...that makes for a pretty good shot at landing a big time Free Agent.
Just like Ben Wallace. ONLY a guy noone else is willing to pay would agree to come to Chicago. And even he would ONLY sign if he believe he's overpaid. So the Bulls are saving for one bum like Bosh who they will dump all of their money on and force him to come. It will mean the Bulls make the second round instead of the first. Just like with Ben Wallace. Being in Chicago is like doing NBA time.

Why don't you just move from Chicago?
You can't be adding anything to the city.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Gemini

It's easy to become distracted and confused because your mind is wandering about in all sorts of different directions. You're also in a highly impressionable state so will believe almost anything you're told now, whether it's true or a total flight of fancy. Be wary of muddling others by only telling them half the story or letting your imagination fill in any gaps.
