I enjoyed Ben--he gave 100% every game. However, he's not worth that much given his poor defense. Had the Bulls matched that, they'd give up on D Wade next year. I'd rather have a shot at D Wade. As it is, the Bulls will have better D and weaker O with Salmons and Deng starting and Hinrich backing both guard spots.

Good luck Ben and thanks for the memories.

unless we sign someone to replace his scoring , boy do the bulls look like idiots letting him go for nothing. All you Gordon haters are idiots too, this guy i a special player and I am sad to see him go, to the Pistons no less..this is way worse than DeRosa signing with the Cards.

Goodbye to the no defense, too short, never turned down a chance to shoot gordon. If not for his ego could have been a great 6'man. This will leave the ball in rose's hand and leave cap room for a deal this year or next.

The Bulls made equal offers in years past and Gordon passed on it. He'd have made more money if he had take the Bulls' offer since he had to accept a low salary this year. Oh and DeRosa didn't sign with the Cards. He was traded.

Goodbye Ben! We won't miss the 40 games you don't have your shot and the 82 games you don't play defense! At least now we don't have to worry about the Pistons challenging for a championship!

Yeah, he's a professional, all right. A professional moron. If he wanted to be here that badly, he would've taken either of the deals the Bulls offered that don't seem very different from the one he got from the Pistons. It must be tough to be a professional athlete because it seems like there's never enough money for them. I'll miss him until we 1) play him four times a year, in which case I'll boo him till I'm hoarse 2) beat his team in the playoffs, if the Pistons even make it, or 3) find someone better, like Dwyane Wade. Go to the Pistons, Benedict, and have fun losing. Moron.

Good riddance to this selfish small person no defense player. All he ever played for was his contract and he finally got it. Thank you Detroit because if you didn't sign this bum than we would have. gordan is nothing more than a role player bench player who is worth about a 12-16 million 5-6 year contract. Enjoy Detroit.

if his defense was decent, I'd be a lot sadder.

I think it was clear that the Bulls would never win the championship with Gordon being the main guy. It's a challenge as it is with Deng's salary to bring in a real top tier player to make the team championship worthy. This makes that challenge a bit easier.

Boy will I miss his penchant for not guarding anybody in the NBA and his inability to create his shot off the dribble during crunch time. NOT!

I believe Ben when he says he wanted to stay here, and I think he deep down knows he made a mistake by not initially accepting the Bulls first 5-year offer. Say what you want about his defense, but I maintain that this guy was extremely valuable in that he was the only guy on the Bulls which put fear into the hearts of the other team. I hope the extra $5 million gives him some comfort, because his leaving like this definitely seems bittersweet

The bulls should've have traded him when they had the chance. letting him walk for nothing, and lets be real he was not worth $54 million john paxson has is doing a good job but, since he's been in the front office he's been playing to safe and now its going to bite him in the butt

Bulls were right to let Ben Gordon go, Salmons will do a good job.
