4 Reasons the New York Knicks Do NOT Need Jeremy Lin

The Knicks should have kept Lin but anyways the MSG is sold out for the next three years and you got a Time Warner cable contract out of Lin, so his mission is finished here in NY. I am sure that neither Kidd nor Felton is as good as Lin. But it is all about the money. Lin's poison ill contract from the Rockets was too much for the Knicks to swallow.

Poison pill bull. It's all about race. If Lin was black or white he would have had his contract renewed even before the season was over.

We tolerate people from all walks. NY Knicks may not make the playoffs this year and it was a dumb move. Last year Lin was a rookie and this year from all sources that we had been exposed to, Lin is much improved. He is already in Houston got his medical clearance and paperwork done and is ready to rumble. DS it is not race, NY has been known to make this kind of mistakes.

It was smart for the Knicks not to pick up Lins contract. The huge 3rd year would put them in the luxury tax. Raymond Felton is not much of a drop off for alot less money.

Felton is a huge drop off from Lin, Lin has better court vision, bigger ,stronger, better shooter, better passer, faster and finish around the basket with either hand now. Lin is also a better defender, you got to remember Lin was just a rookie last year, wait till you see him this year.

There are a hundred reasons why the Knicks should have kept Lin but four reasons was good enough for the Knicks braintrust to let him go, ridiculous.

Lin playing-win games....Carmelo playing-lose games.....Good Luck....

Lin is a HORRIBLE defender!!!! What the hell were you watching. 2 years ago Felton averaged 16 points 6 assists with the Knicks. He is a better defender than Lin. Felton doesn't turn the ball over as much as Lin. Again you are wrong

And another thing, Lin was not a rookie last year. He played 29 games with the warriors and played 10 minutes a game the season before last....

He did not play enough games so last year he was still considered a rookie, you look at his collector's cards then you will know what I am talking about.

No Blake griffen was injured for his first season so he was considered a rookie the year after. 29 games is 35% of a season. More than enough to be considered a season played by bird rights standards. Nice try

Well Lin will be BalLin in Houston.

When Lin was at GSW he did not play at least 41 games therefore he was still considered as a rookie and he played in only two pre-season games with the rockets. 90% of the people are with me that Lin is better than Felton. Felton is not as deidcated as Lin, he will again be out of shape like last year with Portland.

You don't need to play 41 games to count as a season. All you did was cut a season in half. I never said Lin wasn't better. I'm saying that for the money spent on Lin and the money spent on Felton, you are getting ALMOST the same productivity for a whole lot cheaper with Felton. I bet Felton will be in shape since there is no lock out this year. He would not have the nerve to do that twice. 90%? Nice made up number

Riddle me this smart guy; how would Lin be a restricted free agent if he didn't accrue at least 2 seasons played?

Look at the books 2011-12 was Lin's rookie year.
2010-2011 he did not play enough to qualify. If you want to buy Lin's rookie cards it is 2011-2012.

We dont need Lin! It would be nice if we had him but f#ck it! Lets move on! I think with a few more pieces we have a legitimate contender. Im just sick of all the Lin talk...to me he didnt make or break us so lets move on already!
