When the casinos were proposed, it was said that there would be an increase in prostitutes. Does anyone know when they will be arriving? Is anyone planing a welcome to Columbus party? If we dont recieve vegas class hookers will we be able to sue for false advertising?

If the Pro Casino people hid this little tidbit from us, what else are they hiding from us. We already voted in a sweetheart deal for them, i guess they will be able to ask and get more.

roflllll BHO saddle shoes and poodle skirt are current high school style for those want to waste even more money on this issue. on a more serious note and with the possibility of better results - are we going to allow our elected representatives to waste more tax $$$ looking for loopholes, legal remedies. if they are he!!bent on spending to further the opposition - take it out of your personal funds, which of course have been padded over the years by various special interests.

Making a deal with Sen Harris is easy,(the republicans want to increase the tax on issue 3 ) increase the tax in a bill to the issue 3 group by 17% for administrative and gaming board needs, hiring inspectors and investigators, that brings the tax up to 50% like the slots at the tracks . Lower the license fee to $50 million for the tracks like issue 3 casinos, give the tracks control of the pay outs on slots to compete with the casinos, and an option for table games at an additional fee of $15 million and then everything is equal for competition sake.

I think it would horribly unconstitutional for them to put it back on the ballot because all of Franklin County didn't vote for this issue. Do we get a different Mayor if our county votes differently than the rest of Ohio. Can we get a different President just for Ohio if we don't agree with the rest of the nation? You think voter turnout is bad now, just think how low it will become if they start overturning the results of the masses. I for one will no longer exercise my right, since obviously it wouldn't mean squat.

We at least know now that we are dealing with a bunch of crooks, of course some of us knew that before the vote. I DO NOT believe for one second that Lyle came in 5 days before the vote. At that point all of the risks were already taken, the outcome all but assured via polling. Why, would anyone in that position offer 10% of a sure thing to a competitor? If it smells like a pile of crap it probably is a pile of crap. Congrats Ohio, live with the smell. Btw, I am not against gambling. Just the sweet deal that we gave these hucksters in the constitution none the less. I walk amoung idiots.

Wow you seem as excited about the hookers coming to town as me. Would you like to form a welcome party for them? I am really tired with the quality of hookers we currently have here in Columbus. Its really the only reason I voted for the casinos. Does any one know when they will be excepting appications for the jobs to pass out cards to the strip joints like in vegas?
