I agree in this respect - if the Cavs played San Antonio or the Lakers this year in the Finals, they would most likely take at least 2 games, maybe 3. I seriously doubt they would get swept this year. I predict a Celtics-Spurs final that the Celtics will win in 7.

IF IF IF, If your aunt had balls she would have been your uncle. The Cavs haven't gotten closer to anything except for the summer vacation which has already started. Of course it will go 7 games it's all planned and setup that way. The sport is FIXED.

Actually, the Cavs were closer to the title last year when they made it to the championship series. This year, they didn't make it as far.

Regarding the fireworks before the game:

When it looks like the game is being played in the fog, they've gone overboard with the pyrotechnics. It detracts from the actual game. That was my impression watching a couple of the games played in Boston on TV.

A little bit of that is OK, but not at the expense of ruining the ability to actually see the game.

Who cares, it is basketball. Change the games to 3 minutes long, give both teams 80 points and just play from there. That'll take about 45 minutes to an hour of tv time and satisfy the loons that watch the game.

I got a bad vibe watching ESPN today
Will they do it again tonight? We all know what the motivation would be…

All the Cavs needs now is an old school hard working type of player like Ron Artest who plays hard nose defence but can also provide offence. If they can get this guy, they'll be one up on any other Eastern Conference team. Before he went to Sacramento he did say he wont mind becoming a Cavalier. Imagine Wallace, Ilagauskas, Artest, Gibson or West and James in the starting line up - instant championship caliber team for the next season

Oh my! Another Cleveland sports season ends without a championship... what a shocker!

Time to look in the mirror and say 'LOSER!', once again. Do it quick, you wont be able to again until sometime in September or October.

I like LeBron, Delonte, Gibson (as long as they don't want a ton of money) Joe Smith, Z, Wallace( as long as they realize their careers are on the down), and anyone else. Look what Boston did. Traded their lineup for a core of vets.

It's obvious the teams that made big changes (the Lakers/Celtics) and the teams that make little changes (the "they're in the Finals again?" Pistons/Spurs)are the best teams in the league. The Cavs made big changes. They put themselves at the talent/cap/attractiveness/leve l to have repeating playoff runs for years to come.

The LeBron factor is moot. It's out of anyone's control. If the Cavaliers are so bad in two years that he still wants to leave, then you will have to deal with it. I doubt the Knicks will be any good in two years though. I can't see LeBron trying to go to a team that is horrible organizationally(is that a word?) like them. If the Cavs are good and LeBron just wants out because someone gives him a bunch load of money he can't turn down, then we should be happy we get his tax dollars, let him go, and fill the roster again.

Personally i'd like to see the Cavs try and get Dwyane Wade, Tracy McGrady, Jason Kidd(for 1 year), than panic.

"Dan Gilbert" consists of 10 letters. "Full of crap" also consists of 10 letters. A spooky coincidence? I don't think so.

Why do you even bother? Do me a favor- don't be a Cleveland sports fan. We don't need or want little whiny boys like you.

What planet are you from? It's all about the money and not about the game. Time to wake up to reality.

I personally think the Cavs are in need of one of two things (both are preffered)1.either Baron Davis or Gilbert Arenas to really run the point even though Delonte is not that bad. 2.either Elton Brand or Jermaine Oneal to be the other power in the paint. Ben Wallace is looking like he is hurt or close to retirement and LeBron needs some real help or he is gone to N.Y/N.J if we don't get someone with a little muscle that can help us win it all count Mr.Basket out and i'm going to leave you with this Eastern conf champs will not keep him here!!! P.S please get rid of these 3 Jones,Jones and Pavlovic

Daily Horoscope for February 13

Gemini

This is a good time to take stock of your actions and the direction you're going in. Are your efforts getting you anywhere or leading you astray and scattering your energy? If you're putting in the work but not moving forward, you're not on track. The old adage 'cut your coat according to your cloth' is good advice. Be simple and purposeful and don't waste time with things that get no practical results.
