I know it's just that I'm getting this really bad feeling about this coming season.

I'm not exited with the squad they got together, is more of a now or never squad then a let's dominated the league again.

Plus I don't have any faith in their coach being able to work with the egos.

Howard is in his pre-Madonna / I'm in my prime let me dominate mode while KB is still in his I'm Fing Kobe Bryan just give the ball and I think that created some problems for KB with Bynum and Pau last season, He would not let Pau handle the ball more which would had created better looks for every one else.

I can't see him giving up the rock to Nash, so many reason for things not to work out then for them to work out.

I like superman, is just is hard to believe some one can get the upper hand on him in any fight with him like they do in his histories with so many powers is just very hard to see it happen.
I agree it's a comic world that's why I never argue about it, I still watch his animated movies, the motion comics etc.
Great writers will write great stories, some writers don't use all of supermans powers, such as speed, it baffles me sometimes in the cartoons when I see superman struggling and he isn't using his advantages, the laser doesn't do much to some foes, supermans weakness also is he doesn't have fighting skills, he just punches and kicks, a good bad guy can get the upper hand on him, depends on the writers....example of bad writing, how many times did batman get caught by his enemies only to escape lol, batmans biggest strength is that he can find you but you cant find him, so I hate it when they make batman so clumsy. I suppose they try to add suspense like that, but it doesn't do it for me.

We are totally on the same page, I know many many many laker fans are drooling looking at the roster on paper, but I see a lot of questions that have to be answered ! A lot! maybe I am making it too difficult but I have a bad feeling too, but also I know this team will be good, just how good?

First off I am still upset we didn't get chris paul, we would have paul and howard right now ! ugh! ok anyway, nash is old, kobe is old, we have to see if they still have it this coming season, nash playing in a different system, coach brown needing to get these guys geling is he the right coach? howard is coming off back surgery after bynum came off a healthy season, will howard have problems from here on out with injuries? We still need to a back up perimeter player.

I disagree on one thing I think kobe will allow nash to do his thing, but I can see why your worried, lets face it, kobe in his older age, has become very very stubborn, he wants to prove he still has it, so he will chuck it up until he starts making them, kobe will over dribble only to lose the ball, kobe is getting blocked more now, he just needs to play a much smarter game, now he can do that with nash, if he lets nash do his thing kobe can be far more efficient, tahts if nash brings what hes suppose to bring.

I agree there are great writers that do great stories, but when there is fights no one can hurt him and one punch from him could kill any of his foes I can understand the lack of fighting skills, but in reference from some of his comics Superman acknowledges he has to hold back when using his x-rays and hitting, but just by moving at the speed of light he should be able 90% of them.

Superman is suppose to be super smart, that's why I dislike when they make him clumsy like You mentioned, he should be able to see things coming a mile away and even if doesn't they should affect him, he has some many weapons to use at his disposal he pretty much has answer for any foe the only a few that I say are his level are Darkseid, Doomsday, Bizarro and General Zod.

Batman at least can be caught if a good trap is set, superman can check out the place for traps before going in..ha ha ha

You know what's a good story Superman red son, they idea of the story mostly.

Batman under the red hood if You ever get chance watch it, super cool story, I think is pretty good, best animated Batman movie I ever watch.

See when they Lakers main guns are in the mid 20's I would feel really good, but that's not the case, so I don't think You are making more difficult, I think that there is legit concern that this whole season could blow in the Lakers face and we the media we have here they will be pressing the panic button at the smallest chance just to get people running to listen or watch their shows.

I have notices that KB has been playing the role of spotting shooter with team U.S.A. and it got me thinking if he changing his game in anticipation to play in Nash style of game but I could be completely wrong.

I agree Lakers trade a healthy Bynum for a none knows what to expect Howard.

Howard and Pau will fit in Nash style perfectly mostly with Pau passing abilities,This Lakers team will run, but do they really want to that against OKC?

Will KB give up the team's helmet to any other player I don't know and it gets me thinking.

Even with the changes I don't think they are deep enough to win it all, unless Devin Ebank, Josh McRoberts and company decide step up like farmar, sasha and company did back in 2008.

You have a lot faith in KB, I don't, I gotta see him showing it, until then I will go with this bad feeling I'm getting.

Like I said way too many things to go wrong then for thing to go right and win the whole thing.

Best team in the West is OKC until some one can take it from them in a series.

For You guys that are fans!!

Now new live-action series for Marvel Television at ABC hmmm now that got my attention, they should put Heroes to shame with this.

I guess Disney got scare of the Idea of Warner Brothers talking to Whedon about the justice league film, DC vs Marvel is on! ha ha ha

The Avengers" director Joss Whedon will return to the cinematic House of Ideas!

Joss Whedon has signed an exclusive deal with Marvel Studios for film and television through the end of June 2015. As part of that deal, Whedon will write and direct "Marvel’s The Avengers 2" as well as help develop a new live-action series for Marvel Television at ABC. He will also contribute creatively to the next phase of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.

In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers 2," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013; "Thor: The Dark World" on November 8, 2013; "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" on April 4, 2014; "Guardians of the Galaxy" on August 1, 2014; and "Ant-Man."

<quoted text>yeh ill agree with you buddy, yeh i agree, i wasnt able to watch the game today, but i saw on good old gamecast on espn.com back to reading play by play, its something anyway...lol, and they seemed to be playing well and scoring the ball, i mean we got 104 points, im never concerned about the offence, if we had just defended them better, we wuda been ok! we saw in the second quarter that we knuckled down and we got back in it, we did well early 3rd quarter too, but then the hornets just got on a ROLL! but yeh with odom and kwame, we wuda been better defensivly! just think odom wud been on peja! his length wud help and kwame is much better at defending guys like west in the post. anyway, we cant do anything about it now, lets move on to minnesota, a little easier maybe now that KG is gone, however, if you look at their first 3 games, they have really played well, so we need to be ready for them! im not saying this loss is good, but in a way i wud think it shud make the lakers work hard and want to get back in the winners column, instead of having won and then going into the wolves game feeling like 'we are better than they are' and 'we got odom back, so we will win, and we just have to show up and we got it' so they will be prepared i hope and fired up to win a game they SHOULD win.
Bullsh*t. Lakers blow . Kobe's a ball hog and they're all old. But I'm sure la will win the championship. La clippers.

If they win the whole thing it would be on talent along, cause he sucks at doing adjustments in post season series.
Nope he wasn't. The offense they ran didn't fit their players. He did have them keeping their opponents to a low ppg average. That's the ONLY thing I can say good about mike brown

Yeah, thinking about it, this team isn't that much stronger with Howard than they were with Bynum. OKC is still the team to beat in the West and your right, what if Howard leaves them at the end of the season, not good for the Lakers. We just have to wait and see what happens.

Mike Bresnahan @Mike_Bresnahan

Lakers agree to terms w/ reserve SG Jodie Meeks on a 2-year deal for about $3 mill. 2nd yr is team option. Meeks is 37% career 3-pt shooter.

LOL

I knew you of all people would be jizzing in your pants White LOL

Ill have to agree with my homey's Showtime and RR though...lets not count our chicks before they hatch LOL

Im still not happy with the way Dwight conducted himself--like a primmadonna. That might not translate well with a dominant Kobe Bryant. Nash may be an improvement but the tradeoff is his age.

and of course, Mike Brown who I never liked as a head coach for LA...
