Former NBA player Stromile Swift pleaded guilty Friday to charges he stalked a Shreveport woman last year, according to Caddo District Attorney’s Office. Swift, 32, admitted to one count of stalking and received a suspended sentence of six months in the parish jail. District Judge Ramona Emanuel also ordered him to serve 18 months on supervised probation. Swift was arrested May 19, 2011 after Shreveport police received a call from an adult female, Chaquinita Pouncy, who reported that he was following her vehicle. She said the two had been arguing prior to the incident, police said. Swift, a former Fair Park and LSU star, was the second pick of the 2000 NBA Draft by the then-Vancouver Grizzlies. The 6-foot-10, 220-pound forward played for four organizations over nine seasons in the NBA and averaged more than 10 points per game just twice before heading to China in 2009.

The Water Boy wrote: <quoted text> I saw it on Imax the other day too! It was a good movie but, as usual, I expected more, particularly when they were describing how they got there...pictograms on the wall wasn't enough. They needed to elaborate more on that and on the final scenes. Ridley Scott did do some homework though, I see. I wish he would have called me too! LOL I specialize in ancient civilization and technology and have numerous friends in the field of archeology who I work with off and on. We would have took this film to another level! Good flic though! Sorry I know it's been a while. Wow! You specialize in ancient civilization really? so U are into puma punku, Chichen Itza, Thiahuanaco all that good stuff. Well I honestly thought that pictograms was cool idea, but at the end it didn't make any sense with the story line was trying to tell You. From what I understood from the star of the movie, was that they created life on earth by mistake and that wanted to correct their mistake by the way it ended and with that ending it killed the idea of any connection the pictograms was suppose to have the aliens. But overall it was pretty good movie, I liked it a lot.

Hey guys I was wondering is any one else beside me is completely not exited about the Lakers moves so far.
The Lakers are getting older and that should better to beat the thunder?
I don't see how Steve Nash make the Lakers better and he is getting pay crazy money too!
If they do get Howard I don't see how the Lakers are better with him, I don't he will do better then Bynum, plus Howard coming of an injury put a BIG QUESTION MARK on him.

I think the Lakers will be better this year. I think you can't go wrong with either Bynum or Howard even though I would take Howard in a heartbeat lol. The bench will be better than it was last season because Jamison can still play. Another low post player. I still wanted to bring Odem back, but my God he is those other clowns in L.A. It's real sad. Also hope you saw the Dark Knight. I think both that and the Avengers were the movies of the year. Sad what happened in the movie theater in Denver on opening night for the movie.

Lakers all they really needed last season was a real bench, I don't think that Jamison is the answer, shame that Hill didn't come over that would had given the Lakers a way deeper bench, sadly at their old age they still better then what they had then last season. Honestly right now I think bynum is worth more then Howard, if they do get Howard there is so many thing that gotta get work out now with Jamison too, once again the Lakers have liability at PG with Steve ( no Defense )Nash. If they don't get a bench and they do get Howard, I don't see the Lakers going any where. they are going be to just as good or worse then last season to me on paper they don't look better.

Yeah I just watched D.K.R. two days ago it was alright, I wonder how much different would had been if Heath Ledger had not die. Dude I still can't believe what happened in Denver, very sad. I didn't buy tickets for the movie premier, but I still went to the movie theater just to check out all the hard core fans that suit up for the movie, never would had cross my mind that some one could do what the A** did. I'm still waiting for Total Recall, but I guess Avengers and Batman are the top two so far not counting animated movies , Spider man SUCKED REAR END enough said.

Let's not get racist and stereotyped about blacks, there are plenty of smart black to go around. It just happened that Swift and Miles did not want to hit the books that's all. Lebron and kobe are plenty smart but college was not for them.
