Kobe should just keep playing ball and not make comparison comments. I totally agree with MJ and Barkley.

A few days ago, Kobe Bryant was asked if the 2012 U.S. Olympic team stood a chance against the 1992 Dream Team. Not one to refuse a challenge, Kobe proclaimed that the current team would win in a close matchup. Two elder statesmen from the 1992 team, Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley, were not very happy with the comments. Jordan went so far as to say Kobe was not all that smart for saying such blasphemy.

Jordan told The Associated Press Thursday that he laughed —“I absolutely laughed”— when hearing Bryant’s comments that the squad training in Las Vegas could take Jordan and company.

Jordan said there’s “no comparison” which team is better.

“For him to compare those two teams is not one of the smarter things he ever could have done,” Jordan said prior playing in a celebrity golf tournament in Charlotte.

Both Jordan and kobe are trash talkers, they are both cocky, they are both competitive, and as much as I love magic, bird and jordan, I dont know if that team could keep up with the speed, and atleticism, of this one, people just hate to let go of the past, myself included, but things change, I personally like the 92 team better.

92 team looks better because they kicked every teams ass they played, but the world is catching up with the uS, back in those days they were just happy to be on the court with Jordan and magic, I think thats why people will always say the 92 team is better, also people that cannot stand todays players will say it, people who are Jordan dick ryders will say it, I think about 85 percent of the people who say the 92 team is better are biased or too young, and then the other part of it is people who truly believe the 92 team is better, sammy probably falls in that category, I just dont think the 92 is the best one anymore, but its still everyones favorite including mine.

Well in my opinion kobe and JOrdan would have a good battle, and Jordan arguably was the best player on the 92 team at the time, and Kobe isn't the best player on this team, hes like the 3rd best player, Bird was just too old for anything, he had a huge back problem that caused him to retire by that time, barkley was a hell of a player but hes no match for lebron or durant, magic is a unique player he would give anhyone trouble, you have bigs on the 92 team that can offer some problems for todays teams, the 92 team would have to slow it down and pound it in, because if they run they play into the hands of this team, it would be interesting to watch thats for sure.

I agree right there. 92 would have been slower. Guys today are quicker
