I admit I don't know anything really about dirt racing. But Tony is basically a NASCAR legend and doesn't he have almost God-like status in the dirt area? IMO - That girl is a very young dirt driver and must be in awe of him. She probably doesn't care how he treats her, just to be close to him is enough. Kinda like when we were 14 and in high school, ya know -- blinded by a crush who is "perfect" in every way (not really of course but that is what hormones do to you).
