it is very unfortunate that any people do not know Christ and that some commit horrors on others.. Earth is the dwelling place for evil spirits who people invite into themsleves to gain more power.. those people then have handed their souls over to satan.. this is fact... there are secret societies that worship satan and they have a diabolical plan to establish the one world government, The New World Order, the kingdom of satan on earth. we are in the very last stages of that plan.
As for your mother being a victim,, I feel badly about that. God created the world and right away lucifer and his fellow fallen angels started to mess with humanity to try to turn them away from God.. many people are fooled. Many people are born into satanism at no fault of their own.. the fact is though that the word of God IS there for anyone to learn and turn their lives around. Everyday when you walk outside and see the beauty of the planet that God created,, see the animals that he created, there is no excuse for not seeing his majesty and praising him for everything good. Many cultures pray to Gods to give them grace for anything and everything.. they do not realize it but they pray to satan.. God has already provided man everything he needs,, there is no need to ask him,, he has already given. EVERYTHING bad,, everything horrid in the world is CAUSED on purpose by satan and his minions.. everything.. without their manipulation,, there would be peace and prosperity as long as people do not SIN.
Satan is trying to get every single soul he can, that is why he has Obama, his minion, working to undermine the catholic church, as her had child molesting priests do the same thing.
It is very STRICT that people follow God's laws and worship him with their entire heart in order to get to spend eternity with him rather than those who work to destroy humanity, those who CAUSE all horrors on Earth.. There are people who are very good Christians who have been fooled and they are going to be very sad when they learn that they did not realize that they aided satan on this Earth because they allowed satan to tell them what they should do, being tolerant of sinners and not correcting them... It isn't that hard to get back to the scriptures. God forgives ALL sin if you turn to him and repent.

The great news is you do not have to belong to a church to have a relationship with god. Honestly most churches are very corrupt.(they are not as holy as they should be. Money goes places it should not.) Start looking at what your church dollars are used. Is that how God would use them?

As for why does god have bad things happen to good people? They are test of your faith. When something bad happens do you turn to god? or elsewhere.

The Catholic Church has been fighting over the birth control issue for decades with even it's own church members. They believe any form of birth control is a sin and they bang into their parishioners heads every chance they get.

So it's literally no surprise they have a problem with being forced to supply birth control under their group insurance plan.
