I tore up my Homestead tickets, rather than give them to someone who would fill the seats, because of the decision of NASCAR to have Mrs. Obumer and friend as Grand Marshals. BIG mistake NASCAR and SPRINT.

check NASCAR.com ....there will be changes to it till Thursday duels.... But NASCAR should have it by speedweeks

Why in the world would NASCAR turn its' back on the racially-benign aspects of southern culture? And the flag on the General Lee is racially benign.
That show exemplifies all that is moral and good about the south. Afterall, Cale was on that show. As much as I love NASCAR, this was a bad, bad move and will be in the news until after the Phoenix race.

I can't believe that nascar will not let a car with the Confederate flag on it on the track That is PC BS. That flag is the heart of the sport not the white bread sport they are forcing on us

no general lee? i went to 8 races in a year once..i will never go back to another one.. the south has lost another good thing because of greed..gotta have more rules and money..nascar makes me sick..im not buying any products on the cars this year..im not tuning in..hope daytona never sells out again..its not racing its commericals and greed..why not just move to china too....

whose car had a confederate flag on it..have not seen story on this...would like to read more about it

Today is just more proof that the "POWERS THAT BE" at NASCAR need to take noti8ce that even the weather is warning them that the "GENERAL LEE" needs to run or there will be more RAIN. If they will let the general run there is less chance of bad weather.

I would like to see nascar rethink this deal with Jhonson and rick hendrick.I have been a strong nascar fan for 50 years and have got to say you are out of line in this whole deal with this team!I dont need to say anything more.Just rethink this and back away with some style.

No because he was told with his last few suspensions that he is not to mess with this part of the car. The car may not have hit the track @ Daytona . But the car was raced at other tracks and their other cars had the same modification on them that are in their stable of cars . chad needs to come clean on when he started changing the c-posts and they need to give back what they gained in trophies and $$$.... or those wins and championships need to be astricked.*** 5 championships*** cheated to get in my opinion.

Take those winnings and championship money and pay the team (those who were following orders and not involved in making the decision to do this) for 6 weeks on Jimmie, Chad and Ricks dime and sit the whole team for 6 weeks. That eliminates chad from running the team from his smart phone or computer. They can go home and build cars correctly and answer to sponsors why they have to cheat to win...How Lowes will you go? Why they losing 6 races of points. Jmo though

Otherwise we are comprising the integrity of the sport. What other sport do you get to continue on do you get to retain wins and championships if you are caught cheating. It should cost them their HOF as well for awhile.

If the nascar hall of fame wants to compete with other major halls of fames they need to select five drivers each year with two other slots for non-drivers like owners, crew chiefs, ect. Next they need to get the drivers records right. Curtis Turner's record was 17 cup wins, 38 conv. wins both nascar events thats 55 wins he also raced in usac and others with a total of 365 win from 1949 until his last race.
