Kasey Kahne's twitter controversy

So Apparently Kasey is disgusted by breastfeeding in public and he said so on his Twitter. What do you think?

I don't think he deserves to be crucified because of it. He's entitled to his opinion. I actually agree with him. There's a time and a place for everything and whipping your boobs out at the grocery store is just inappropriate.

Unfortunately we don't live in a world that allows people to express their opinion anymore. Just a bunch of whiners that want to sue if someone so much as sneezes on them or dare disagrees with their self righteous pandering! Honestly your boob hanging out in public isn't appropriate either way. The person could have easily breastfed with a blanket covering herself and maintaining some decency. However, I wonder if say Kasey saw the latest Playboy centerfold with her boob hanging out in public would he have acted the same way. Probably not! HA! HA!

Honestly I don't like the fact that he apologized for his comments! I have much more respect for someone that backs up their opinion in controversy than someone that just caves. I also think the backlash and the nasty comments he's received from idiots on Twitter & Facebook are the reason that stars will often not interact with fans. This probably also explains why Tony refuses to get a Twitter account. HA! HA!

I think you're probably right about Tony not wanting to be on twitter because he wouldn't want to have to worry about always being PC. You'll probably see Kasey on Twitter a whole lot less just like Denny after he got in trouble.

I wonder if people would react differently if someone else made the comment...say Brian Vickers or Robby Gordon.

so, Kasey CAN have an opinion about breast feeding but Kurt Busch cannot show his ANGER at a moron with a microphone wanting to get in his face after his car got wrecked in the last race, early on?? more double standards by race fans... ALL people on EARTH need to figure out that these electronics are being USED against them to spy on them, to divide and conquer, to ruin careers.. it is absolutely rediculous for people, espcially like Kasey Kahne, to post anything whatsoever on Twitter.. people need to figure out that their opinion is theirs and it should be kept in, only for them and people they know and care about because this electronic crap is going to have all of ua at each others throats before long. Only a gay man would get so bent out of shape seeing a breast in public. Or think it was nasty. Could you imagine any other male racer-besides Tony-saying that a woman breastfeeding was nasty?

I'd rather Mom feed and comfort baby in public, rather than hiding or ignoring it so that baby screams like a banshee in public.

Kasey said it was a kid, not a baby. And I think that a kid can wait until they are out of the store to feed. That's what the little snackies in the purse are for. In fact, I think breastfeeding anyone over 3 is weird. Plus, he said that one breast was out and the other was in use. Why would she not have been a bit more discreet? I breast fed my kids, so I'm not implying that it's nasty, but I always kept my boobies nicely hidden because it does make some people uncomfortable...but that's just me.

Maybe it's just me, but I would have felt very uncomfortable breastfeeding my kids in public. I never had the desire to breastfeed. But, to each his own, I guess.
I see the columnists make mention of Kasey calling the one person a dumb bytch. They failed to mention that this same person called Kasey an as#ho#$.

Perhaps the child had just changed over to the other breast? And you can't tell how old some children are by size of the children.

I just hope that kid doesn't come home and say "Mom, I be back from football practice for a boobie snack".

My cousin would whip her's out anywhere. Once we were in a sports bar having lunch and out it came. I don't have a problem if the mom wears a cover, but to just whip it out and nurse is a little bit much.

If the kid is walking (and we don't know the age of this child), it's a bit old. I know some moms who nurse until age 5. To me, that's not normal.

Kids start walking around 9 months old....my nephew was big for his age by the time he was 2-looked like a five year old-..again, you cannot tell the age of a child simply by appearances.

Pump before you go and take a bottle of breast milk with you. next we will see men pulling out ol willie for blow job/masterbaiting or pee because it is a natural bodily function. where does it end?

I was thinking along the same lines. If a guy has to go pee and does it in public, will people be outraged? Of course. But, then, isn't that a body part?
